Bangalore ( Karnataka ): Under the theme of ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav Se Swarnim Bharat Ki Ore,’ Brahma Kumaris, Varadani Bhavan, Basavanagudi, VV Puram Sub Zone, Bengaluru celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2022 at “Vishwa Shanti Rajayoga Bhavan, Gottigere, Bengaluru” with the divine blessings of BK Chandrika Didi, in the divine presence of BK Ambika and BK Kriti.
Chief Guests for the event were Prof. S. Ayyappan, Chancellor, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Chairman, KSTA; Dr. S. Rajendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor, University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK; Rajeeb Kumar Roy, Managing Director, Agriplast Tech India Pvt Ltd.; Akshay Heblikar, Director, Eco-watch; Eshwar Prasad, Secretary, Parisara Environment Protection Organisation; Mr. Monish Mishra, Chief Innovation Officer, Panasonic; Mr. Srinivas Raju, Promoter, Green the mind, Green the Earth.
The program started with the explanation of the Brahma Kumaris World Environment Day Project theme, followed by BK Chandraka’s Divine Blessings. All the chief Guests gave their good wishes. The program ended with a Pledge and Guided Meditation by BK Kriti.
All Guests are involved in Tree Planting. Plantable papers and pens were distributed to all. More than 1,000 offline and 1,000 online participants attended the event. Some 2,000 free saplings were distributed.
