World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims Observed by Brahma Kumaris Malad

Malad, Mumbai ( Maharashtra ): World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims was observed by Brahma Kumaris Malad in Liberty Garden organized by BK Kunti (National Coordinator – Transport & Travel Wing).
Dr. Shyam Agrawal (Eye Surgeon & Social Worker), Ramesh Powar (SI, Traffic Dept, Malad, Mumbai) were the guests of the program.

Dr. Shyam Agrawal stressed the importance of following the rules to prevent any accidents. He suggested that all pedestrians should make use of the footpath to avoid issues for the drivers. And the drivers should have a control on the speed, as the accidents are caused mainly due to high speed.

Ramesh Powar also requested all to follow the traffic rules strictly to avoid any accidents.

BK Kunti said that one should have good control on their own mind, to avoid anxiety and accidents. She mentioned that Rajyoga helps one to get control of the mind.

BK Shobha also reiterated that one should avoid mobile usage during driving and follow all the traffic rules for one’s  own safety.

Later, a candle lighting was done in remembrance of the road traffic victims and everyone took a pledge to follow all the traffic rules.
