Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): Under the auspices of the Brahma Kumaris Global Hospital Blood Bank and the Rotary International, “World Blood Donors Day” was celebrated at the Brahma Kumaris Manmohinivan Auditorium on Abu Road.
In connection with this function, a grand motorcycle rally by youth was flagged off by Mr. Naresh Agarwal, President of Agarwal Community, BK Bharat and Dr. Ajay Sindhla at Agarwal Vishnu Dharmashala. The rally was led by BK Bhanu, BK Sachin, BK Amardeep and BK Ishwar all through the town with a message to the public to heartily donate their blood to save many lives. They reached Manmohinivan Auditorium, where a program was arranged to Felicitate Voluntary Blood Donors.
The Chief Guest of the function was Dadi Janki, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris, and Mr. KS Bhandari, Director of CRPF Mount Abu. Other dignitaries Mr. Kalpesh, Assistant District Governor (elect) of the Rotary International 3054; Dr. Partap Midha, Director of Global Hospital; Dr. Roja Tumma, Deputy Director of Trauma Centre; BK Dr. Banarsi, Chief of the Brahma Kumaris Medical Wing; BK Bharat, Chief of the Social Activity Group; Mr. Dharmendra Singh, Blood Bank Officer; and BK Vishal Verma were all present on the dais and inaugurated the program with candle lighting.
Addressing the gathering CRPF Director Mr. KS Bhandari said that, “It is the duty of a human being to always be ready to help others. We often forget our responsibilities towards society. Our small effort may become very important to save someone’s life. So donating blood is also a great charity.”
Rajyogini Dadi Janki, the Head of the Brahma Kumaris, in her message stated that donating blood is a supreme charitable act because it is meant to save a human life. Blood has no religion. It gives a great message of only Humanity of reviving the life of a man of any Religion.
Other guests Mr. Haji Saleem Khan, Head of the Muslim Vakh Community, Abu Road; Mr. Rajendra Bakliwal, Vice President, Rotary Club Abu Road; and Deepa Rajguru, Mentor of Rajasthan Pravasi Sangh, also put forward their views on the importance of donating blood.
As part of the celebration of the Day, individuals from various organisations were felicitated including the Lions Club of Aravali, the Rotary Club, Abu Road, the Muslim Youth Committee, the Agarwal Society, the Agarwal Women’s Association, Sargara Society, the Muslim Social Group, the Northern Railway Employees Union, Railway Mazdoor Sangh, Karnisena Mt. Abu, Pindwada Journalist Association, Purohit Samaj Amthala, Ratka dhann seva samothi, Revdar, Snake Lover’s Group, Abu Road, Hotel Association Group, Ultratech Cements, JK Lakshmi Cements, USB Group of Colleges, Bajrangdal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Brahma Kumaris, Shourya Jagruti Sena, Mahakal Sena, Shiv Sena Mt Abu, Mahakali Seva Samiti, Amthala, Vipra Samaj, CRPF, Mt. Abu, Abu Marble Association, Sudhar Samaj and Chhippa Samaj both from Revdar.
The couples Mr. Hussein Mohammed and Mrs. Pharzana Bano, Mr. Sudhir Joshi and Mrs. Seema Joshi, Mr. Subhash Joshi and Mrs. Prabha Joshi, Mr. Laik Mohammed and his wife Mrs. Parveen Bano were specially honoured.
Mr. KS Bhandari and Dr. Partap Midda motivated the audience to take a pledge to donate their blood to save someone’s life which is an act of the greatest charity.

आबू रोड (राजस्थान)। ब्रह्मा कुमारीज के मनमोहिनी ऑडिटोरियम में ग्लोबल हॉस्पिटल ब्लड बैंक व रोटरी इंटरनेशनल की ओर से विश्व रक्तदान दिवस मनाया गया। इस दौरान मोटरसाइकिल पर एक युवा रैली भी निकाली गई, जिसे अग्रवाल समुदाय के अध्यक्ष नरेश अग्रवाल ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रवाना किया। इस दौरान बीके भरत एवं डॉ. अजय सिंधला मौजूद थे। रैली का नेतृत्व बीके भानू, बीके सचिन, बीके अमरदीप एवं बीके ईश्वर ने किया। इस दौरान लोगों से दिल खोलकर रक्तदान करने की अपील की गई। रैली का समापन मनमोहिनी ऑडिटोरियम में एक कार्यक्रम के साथ हुआ। इसमें स्वैच्छिक रक्तदाताओं को सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि, संस्था की प्रमुख दादी जानकी, माउंट आबू स्थित सीआरपीएफ के निदेशक के.एस.भंडारी थे। सभा को संबोधित करते हुए भंडारी ने कहा कि प्रत्येक मानव का फर्ज दूसरों की मदद करना है। दरअसल, हम हमेशा समाज को लेकर अपने उत्तरदायित्व को भूल जाते हैं। जबकि हमारे छोटे प्रयास किसी की जिंदगी को बचा सकते हैं। इसलिए रक्तदान करना नितांत आवश्यक है। दादी जानकी ने कहा कि रक्तदान सर्वोच्च कार्य है, क्योंकि यह मानव जीवन की रक्षा के लिए किए जाते हैं। रक्त का कोई धर्म नहीं होता। इससे मानवता का बड़ा संदेश दिया जाता है।
