Mohali ( Punjab ): International Women day was celebrated in the premises of Brahma Kumaris Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Mohali. A seminar was organized under the project ‘ Azadi ke Amrit Mahotsav se Swarnim Bharat ki Ore’ with the theme- Women : Flag Bearers of Golden Bharat.
Mrs. Baldeep Kaur, IAS, Special Secretary(Home), Punjab Govt. was the chief guest , who emphasized upon the important role played by Brahma Kumari sisters to uplift the society . By being soul conscious we can have healthy relationships with each other i.e. in our family & society etc.
Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, Former chairperson Punjab State women commission & Member of SGPC told about the important role of Rajyoga Meditation in changing her way of thinking & being optimistic in variou adverse situations faced by her time to time while working as chairperson of PSWC.
Dr. Japleen Kaur, Assistant Professor Obstetrician & Gynecology spoke about gender equality to make the society a better place to live in.
Mr. Mandeep Mittal, Additional District & Session Judge , Punjab State Legal Services Authority said self transformation is very important to bring an appreciable change in the society.

BK Premlata Bahen, Incharge Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle, emphasized to adopt spirituality for women empowerment to make the world a better place to live in. She further said that only spirituality and Rajyoga Meditation can equip the women with values like compassion, peace, care, selfless service, tolerance, affinity, good wishes for all and divine love which can glorify ancient India’s heritage.
