“Women as Flagbearers of the New India” : Tricolour Rally in Hathras

Hathras, Anandpuri Colony ( Uttar Pradesh ) : On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, a Tricolour Rally was taken out jointly by the Brahma Kumaris Anandpuri Colony Centre at Hathras Road and the Kamal Public School under the banner “Women as Flagbearers of the New India.

To empower daughters and the youth, BK Shanta called upon them to stay away from drugs. In the tricolour rally, Brahma Kumaris shared awareness against social evils by raising slogans like “Empower the daughters and generate good qualities in them” and “Wake up youth – stay away from drugs.

The rally started after a Flag-hoisting at Shanti Bhawan, Anandpuri Colony centre of the Brahma Kumaris. The people kept joining and the rally reached Indira Colony where Kamal Gupta, Manager, Kamal Public School, welcomed the Brahma Kumaris. Trustee of the school Roop Kishore Gupta and BK Shanta jointly hoisted the flag there. The courtyard resounded with the slogans by the children. Slogans were raised to make daughters strong and to get rid of drugs.

Thereafter, the rally ended after passing through Indira Nagar Colony, Vinod Vihar Colony, Madhav Vihar Colony Chaman Vihar Colony and Aligarh Road. Participants disguised as Maa Saraswati, B.R. Ambedkar, Rani Laxmi Bai and brave Commandoes moved along in the rally. The cooperation by BK Durgesh, Shweta and Uma, Kamal Gupta, Menaka Gupta, Akhilesh Gupta, Gagan, Rajesh Sharma, and Gajendra was highly appreciable.
