Abu Road ( Rajasthan ): The Brahma Kumaris held a five-day Winter Carnival for children at its Mansarovar Premises. Around 1,000 children from all over India participated in this Carnival. The event and activities are there not just for enjoyment but for their all-round development.
BK Mruthyunjaya, Chairperson of the Education Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation and Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris, while addressing these children, said that it is very important to impart good values to children in today’s world. They are the future of Bharat. Youth today are facing many challenges. It becomes our duty to take care of them. The parents’ role is very important. They should get a beautiful childhood. At the Brahma Kumaris, we inspire these children to learn Rajyoga Meditation along with good moral values.
Sangeeta Raj, well-known artist from Delhi, said that we need to work relentlessly on these children, just like we do to complete any painting. So that they can become beautiful adults. We must instill good values in them, just like we put colors in a painting.
BK Dr. Savita, National Coordinator of the Women’s Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation, said that children are pure at heart. Whatever is written on their hearts now, will be hard to erase.
BK Shivika, Headquarters Coordinator of the Education Wing of the Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation and BK Neha, said that we also went to such programs in our childhood. That is why we could choose this supreme path. Since these children are our future, we need to focus a lot on them.

Many different activities were held for 5 days at this Winter Carnival. Highlights included games, cultural events, intelligence and verbal competitions, a Jalebi race, and a Rajyoga Meditation competition. There were two different groups, an Angel Group of children aged 11 to 14 years and a Diamond Group of 14 to 16 years. The children and youth benefitted from these all-round development programs.

इस विंटर कार्निवाल में पांच दिनों तक अलग अलग गतिविधियां करायी जायेगी। जिसमें खेलकूद, सांस्कृतिक प्रतियोगिता, बौद्धिक प्रतियोगिता, वाक प्रतियोगिता, जलेबी रेस, सेक रेस तथा राजयोग ध्यान प्रतियोगिताओं का भी आयोजन किया जायेगा। बच्चों को दो ग्रुप इस कार्निवाल में आये बच्चों को दो ग्रुपों में बांटा गया है। 11 से 14 साल तक एंजिल तथा 14 से 16 साल तक के बच्चों को डायमंड ग्रुप में बांटा गया है। जिसमें अलग अलग ग्रुप के बच्चों के लिए अलग अलग प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की जायेगी।
