Chhatarpur – Kishore Sagar ( Madhya Pradesh ) : On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, many programs were organized by Brahma Kumaris Kishore Sagar under the theme ‘We want food, not tobacco’. Anesthesian Dr Vijay Sharma, author, creator and social worker, state convenor literature and art, secretary Madhya Pradesh Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti Chhatarpur Abnindra Khare “Anshuman”, Former DO Education Department Ramkumar Mishra, High School Principal Meena Singh, IA Khan from Social Justice Department were the guests in the program organized at Brahma Kumaris premises.
The program started with welcoming all the guests and lighting the lamp.
On this occasion, an exhibition of de-addiction was organized in the school premises and a very beautiful drama of de-addiction was presented by Laxman Agarwal, Pankaj Choubey, Allu Modi, Jamuna Kharaya, Dheeraj, Omprakash, Pawan.
Describing the purpose of the program, Chhatarpur center in-charge BK Shailaja said that every year Brahma Kumaris organizes exhibitions and rallies of de-addiction in all tehsils including Chhatarpur so that people are aware. God has given such a beautiful life, do not look at it with addictions. Do not waste your time, money and breathe by succumbing to these intoxicating habits.
IA Khan from Social Justice Department on this occasion, said that now the administration started to understand that Brahma Kumaris are spreading all kinds of awareness even in small villages. We are also getting written letters from the administration that, this work be done in association with the Brahma Kumaris. The work done by Brahma Kumaris are commendable.
In the same vein, a de-addiction program was also organized in Chhatarpur District Jail, in which 454 prisoners participated and took an oath not to take drugs. Jailor Ram Shiromani Pandey and all the staff were present on this occasion.
The third program was organized at Sandhya Vihar Colony, Satai Road, in which cultural programs highlighted the increasing drug habits among women and suggested ways to get rid of them. A street play was also presented in the colony on this occasion.

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सभी अतिथियों के स्वागत एवं दीप प्रज्वलन से की गई।
इस मौके पर विद्यालय प्रांगण में नशा मुक्ति की प्रदर्शनी लगाई गई और लक्ष्मण अग्रवाल, पंकज चौबे, अल्लू मोदी, जमुना खरया, धीरज भाई ,ओमप्रकाश, पवन भाई द्वारा नशा मुक्ति का बहुत सुंदर ड्रामा प्रस्तुत किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य बताते हुए छतरपुर सेवाकेंद्र प्रभारी बीके शैलजा ने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज हर वर्ष छतरपुर सहित सभी तहसीलों में व्यसनमुक्ती की प्रदर्शनी और रैलियां आयोजित करती रहती है। ताकि लोग जागरूक रहें और इतना सुंदर जीवन भगवान ने दिया है उसे व्यसनों की नजर ना लगा लें। अपने समय धन और सांसों को इन नशे की आदतों के वशीभूत होकर व्यर्थ ना गवाएं।
इस मौके पर सामाजिक न्याय विभाग से पधारे आइ ए खान ने कहा की अब शासन-प्रशासन भी समझने लगा है कि ब्रह्माकुमारीज छोटे छोटे गांव में भी पहुंचकर हर प्रकार की जागृति फैला रही हैं इसलिए अब हम लोगों के पास भी ऊपर से लिखित में आने लगा है कि यह कार्य ब्रह्माकुमारीज के साथ जुड़कर किया जाए। ब्रह्माकुमारीज के सभी कार्य सराहनीय है।
इसी तारतम्य में छतरपुर जिला जेल में भी नशा मुक्ति का कार्यक्रम किया गया जिसमें 454 बंदी भाइयों ने भाग लिया और नशा न करने की शपथ ली इस मौके पर जेलर राम शिरोमणि पांडे सहित समस्त स्टाफ उपस्थित रहा।
तीसरा कार्यक्रम सटई रोड स्थित संध्या विहार कॉलोनी में आयोजित किया गया जिसमें सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के साथ महिलाओं में बढ़ते नशे की आदतों पर प्रकाश डाला और उनसे मुक्ति के उपाय बताएं। इस मौके पर कॉलोनी में नुक्कड़ नाटक भी प्रस्तुत किया गया I
