Washim( Maharashtra ): The Brahma Kumaris of Washim in Maharashtra, held an interactive session with the inmates of the district jail. BK Bhagwan from Mount Abu, was the Chief Speaker on this occasion. He addressed the inmates on the topic of ‘Direction of Karmas and Purification of Behaviour‘.
BK Bhagwan said that instead of harboring feelings of revenge, we should transform ourselves to be free of all negative tendencies. The solitude inside jail premises can be used to think about the real purpose of ‘Self’. Human birth is very valuable, we should not waste this opportunity. Our target should be to develop a supreme character through Self transformation.
The best way to transform anyone is to give them blessings. We should let go of the past and ask God to guard us against any evil deeds. We should try to do good deeds.
The Jail Incharge also talked about the impact of thoughts on our being. We become what we think. He thanked the Brahma Kumaris for this initiative and urged them to continue such programs in the future.
BK Parvati introduced BK Bhagwan to the inmates. He has visited more than 1000 jails in India and given the message of a crime free society in more than 9000 schools. His name is present in the India Book of Records.
BK Ramakrishna Mahale, Retired Jail Incharge, said that it is possible to get rid of negative tendencies by following the teachings of Brahma Kumaris. Jail staff also attended this program. BK Bhagwan held a Rajyoga session for the audience.

जेल अधीक्षक जी ने भी अपने सम्बोधन में बन्दियों को बताया कि आप जैसा सोचोगे वैसा ही बन जाओगे। अत: हमें सदैव अच्छा सोचना चाहिए तथा बुरी आदत को छोड़ देना चाहिए। उन्होंने बताया कि बताई बातों को अपने जीवन में प्रयोग करोगे तो अवश्य ही आप बुरी आदतों को छोड दोगे तथा अपने आप अच्छा सोचने लगेंगे और जेल से छुटने के बाद अच्छे नागरिक की तरह जीवन यापन करेंगे। अंत में उन्होंने ब्रह्माकुमारीज सस्था ऐसे कार्यक्रमों के लिए धन्यवाद किया भविष्य में ऐसे कार्यक्रम करने हेतु ब्रह्माकुमारी को निमन्त्रण भी दिया
बी के पार्वती बहन जी ने माउंट आबू से आये हुए बी के भगवान भाई का परिचय देते हुए कहा की भगवान् भाई जी ने भारत के 1००० से भी अधिक जेलों में जाकर और 9००० से भी अधिक स्कुलो जाकर आपराध मुक्त बनने का पाठ पढ़कर इण्डिया बुक ऑफ रिकॉर्ड में अपना नाम दर्ज करा चुके है |
रिटायर जेल अधीक्षक बी के रामकृष्ण महाले जी ने कहा की ब्रह्माकुमारी द्वारा बताई बातों को अपने जीवन में प्रयोग करोगे तो अवश्य ही आप बुरी आदतों को छोड दोगे तथा अपने आप अच्छा सोचने लगेंगे और जेल से छुटने के बाद अच्छे नागरिक की तरह जीवन यापन करेंगे।
