Ludhiana ( Punjab ): Gita Jayanti is celebrated as a major festival in Hinduism because according to Hindu mythology Gita itself is a very sacred scripture which was narrated by Lord Krishna himself to Arjuna. On the occasion of Gita Jayanti, a film titled ‘Victory over Violence’ was screened by Brahmakumaris at Vishwa Shanti Sadan, Jhande, Ludhiana.
Through this film, an attempt was made to explain to the audience the mystery of the stories described in Gita, Mahabharata and other religious texts. Under the control of your vices, revenge and violence is not the solution to any problem , it was also told that there is a need to understand not the characters of religious scriptures, but the teachings mentioned in them.
The objectives of the Brahmakumaris organization was also briefly depicted through this film. The organization’s Ludhiana sub-zone incharge Bk Saraswati explained to the audience the secret of the God of the Gita and told that the Supreme Father, Supreme Soul can never teach his children to kill anyone, this is a symbolic description to end their own internal disorders. Humans can benefit their lives by recognizing the hidden knowledge in mythological scriptures. She welcomed everyone and also blessed them.
