Vice President to Inaugurate Global Summit-cum-Expo of Brahma Kumaris in Abu

Five thousand delegates expected at 4- Day Mega event
Abu Road ( Rajasthan ) : A galaxy of foreign delegates, cultural artists, educationalists, politicians and religious leaders will converge in Abu for the four day global summit-cum-expo on “Spirituality for Unity, Peace and Prosperity” organized by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at its Shantivan campus beginning September 27.
The summit will be inaugurated by Vice President M Venkiah Naidu while Speaker of Lok Sabha Om Birla, will deliver the valedictory address on October 1, according to a media statement issued by the organization.
The summit aims to disseminate and promote knowledge and experience on the intimate connection between one’s consciousness, thoughts and actions, and their impact on the world. It also aims to resolve the current crisis be it social, scientific or environmental by transforming people’s awareness, attitude, behaviour and lifestyle from unhealthy to healthy, negative to positive, materialistic to spiritualistic and from pessimistic to optimistic through the practice of India’s age old spiritual wisdom, universal values and Rajayoga meditation.
An international expo will also be on display showcasing and highlighting the historic inception, growth and global spread of socio-spiritual and educational services of the Brahma kumaris organization in pictorial and audio-visual form.
Besides, several union ministers, industrialists from India, Nepal, China, Russia, Nigeria, Trinidad and Denmark will also address interdisciplinary session’s that is expected to be attended by about 5,000 delegates and dignitaries.
The summit is scheduled to be preceded by reception-cum-blessing session on September 27.
A national painting contest-cum-workshop is also held on from September 24 to 26 wherein 3000 painters and artists from all over India competed to depict the theme of summit.
