USA Instruments Meetings and Retreat in Peace Village

New York ( USA ): More than 130 BKs including center co-ordinators, class co-ordinators and main instruments from across the United States of America  gathered in person and online for the annual instruments meeting and retreat held at Peace village learning and retreat center in upstate New York. The theme for this year was “Serving as Ancestors”, with the aim of exploring together how to step more deeply into the ancestor awareness as they serve the USA, taking inspiration from murlis, ancestors and their specialties and example.

Over 3 1/2 days was an experience of a wonderful blend of family time, fun, spiritual exploration, and administration. Everyone was served beautifully by BK Sister Mohini, Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris, who was present both in person and virtually for the entire three days. The trance message encouraged all to make sure the doorway of their hearts is always open and generous to those they serve, in the same way that God’s heart is always open to His children. BK Ken so beautifully unpacked the theme, sharing several things to think about as they moved forward in their roles as instruments for God’s task of serving in the US.

The aim for the retreat was for each participant, new and seasoned, to bring the feeling of a deep sense of belonging to the USA family. They left Peace Village full of inspiration to take steps forward both personally, and in respect to the service happening at their Centers and Classrooms. The seed of deeper unity was planted amongst the family, and with ongoing sustenance they aim to blossom into more beautiful, unified service opportunities.
