Two Day Seminar On ‘Concentration Of Mind And Values’

Abu Road( Rajasthan): The Brahma Kumaris in collaboration with NCPCR, National Commission For Protection Of Child Rights, held a two day seminar for the Heads of Child Welfare Committees and Juvenile Justice Boards, at Global Auditorium in Mount Abu. The topic of the seminar was ‘Concentration of Mind And Values’ Of Children.

Sangeeta Beniwal, Head of Rajasthan Child Rights Protection Commission,  inaugurated this seminar.  She said that the foundation of society is laid on the values of our children. For a bright future,  we must nourish good values along with good education of our children.  Parents are more responsible for this, although schools must also do their part. School education should incorporate good human values. Brahma Kumaris is the first educational place where spirituality and meditation are main part of the curriculum.

Bhagwati Prasad, District Collector,  while speaking on this occasion said that for a bright future of children,  parents need to devote time to them. The mind of children is like a blank blackboard.  Anything written there makes deep impact.  He urged everyone to encourage all those children who are on the verge of going astray in society,  towards living a Supreme life.

At its Concluding Session,  Vijay Shankar Pandey, DFO, shared his views. He said that many laws have been made by the UN and Child Welfare Ministry of our Government. But many of these cannot be implemented from a child’s perspective.  Evil tendencies prevelant in society leave very bad effects on children.  They should be protected from those.

She was felicitated with a Momento by Bhagwati Prasad, District Collector,  Dharmendra Singh, SP, Rajendra Kumar Purohit, Assistant Director of District Child Protection Unit, Ratna Bafna, Child Welfare Committee Head, Sashikala Mardia and Pratap Singh, Members of the Commission,  Umaram Devasi and Prakash Mali.
