Guwahati ( Assam ): On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Brahma Kumaris Guwahati Center organised a Tree Plantation Awareness Drive at Brahmaputra Retreat Center, North Guwahati. More than 300 saplings were planted by regular BK students at the said venue under the theme of “Kalpataruh Project “.
Ajit Kr. Bhuyan, Reserve Inspector, Fire and Emergency Service, Government of Assam and Bhaben Kr. Deka, Social Worker participated in the program as special guests. Sister BK Vandana from Rupnagar Center presided over the meeting and Sister BK Deepanjali managed the stage.
During the program, a magic show was also organised by BK Dhaneswar from Mount Abu which enthralled the audience.
