The NorthCap University Vice Chancellor Visits The Rajayoga Thought Lab

Gurugram ( Haryana ): The newly appointed Vice Chancellor (VC) of The NorthCap University, Ms. Nupur Prakash, visited The Rajyoga Thought Lab on the premises of the University.  This was the Vice Chancellor’s first visit.

She visited the Rajyoga Thought Lab along with Dr. Shrutimita Mehta, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare; Dr. Divyabha Vashisht, Head Professor; and Dr. Payal Khurana, Professor, NCU.  BK Sister Sudesh, Director, Rajyoga Center, Palam Vihar, gave Ms. Nupur a tour of the Rajyoga Thought Lab along with BK brother Rtd. Major General Omprakash and BK Sister Jaya.

The tour was very enriching and Ms. Nupur shared great feedback on the entire setup and idea of the lab. She expressed her surprise by saying that “I cannot believe such a concept can exist within a University. It has really made the atmosphere of the University empowering and serene.”

While listening to the experiences of students in the audio-visual room, she mentioned that “It’s surprisingly good to see students talking about spirituality with so much enthusiasm and sharing their story of transformation.”

Everyone meditated in the High Energy room, where BK Sudesh gave a guided meditation commentary.

Projects prepared by students were also showcased, along with the positive affirmations that students write on the Thought Lab wall using stick-ons. It is basically a daily activity that students practice in which students take away a positive thought with them in place of a weakness that they believe they have. While reading the affirmations written by the students, the Vice Chancellor was really amazed and mentioned, “It is such a great achievement that we have helped and encouraged students to realize such subtle things that they’ve come to write such good affirmations.”

She congratulated the entire Brahma Kumaris team for the extensive efforts they’ve put in helping the students of the University to realize their thought patterns and also for helping her students in building a good character and bright future.
