“The Art of Self Engineering” – Scientist and Engineering Wing Campaign Launched in Delhi

New Delhi : The Scientist and Engineering Wing of the Brahma Kumaris organized a campaign called “The Art of Self Engineering” at India International Center, Lodhi Road in Delhi. The Chief Guest on this occasion was Mr. Durga Shankar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Government of India.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Mishra said that the human body is the most sophisticated creation on this planet. To enable oneself to connect with it through spirituality is called self engineering. This alone can bring peace and happiness in life.

Dr. V.P. Joy, Director General of Directorate General Hydrocarbons, in his address talked about the fact that science has given us outer comforts but inner joy is missing. We must all strive for inner peace and joy by adopting self introspection and solitude.

Rajayogi Mohan Singhal, Chairperson of the Scientist and Engineering Wing of the Brahma Kumaris, also shared his views. He said that the theme for Engineers Day 2019 is “Engineering as a Vehicle for Change.” Self Engineering is the means for this change. It can enable us to take full charge of our lives.

Rajayogi BK Brij Mohan, Additional Secretary General of the Brahma Kumaris, said that self improvement is not possible without spirituality. Material accumulation cannot lead to happiness. It is the inner condition of an individual that determines real joy or sorrow in life.

BK Jwahar Mehta, National Coordinator of the Scientist and Engineering Wing, also shared his views with the audience. BK Girija, In-charge of the Lodhi Road center of the Brahma Kumaris, welcomed everyone on behalf of the organization. The program was conducted by BK Piyush, Zonal Coordinator of the Scientist and Engineering Wing.
