Ranchi ( Jharkhand ): On the occasion of World Soil Day, Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Scientific Horticulture Research Center Plandu, Santosh Kumar, Deputy Director Agriculture Department, Dr. Prabhakar Mohapatra Scientist, Virsa Agricultural University, Nutan Verma, Assistant Professor, Department of Plant Breeding, Genetics, Pushpa Ji, Agricultural Science, Mukesh Kumar Sinha, Deputy Director, Agriculture Department, Roshan Nilkamal, Assistant Director, Agriculture Department and B.K Nirmala were present while lighting the lamp at Harmu Road Brahma Kumaris Ranchi Center.
Many efforts are being made by Brahma Kumaris all over the world to bring environmental awareness and to improve agriculture. In this context, on the eve of World Soil Day, a program was organized at Brahma Kumaris Local Service Center, Chaudhary Bagan on Sunday.
Dr. Arun Kumar Singh, Principal Scientist, Horticulture Research Center Palandu said that every year December 5 is celebrated as World Soil Day. Its purpose is to make people aware of the utility of soil. Santosh Kumar, Deputy Director of the Agriculture Department, said that for the conservation of soil, farmers should self-analyze by adopting sustainable compound farming.
Soil health needs attention. Dr. Prabhakar Mahapatra, scientist of Birsa Agricultural University, Soil Department, Assistant Professor Nutan Verma, Pushpa Agriculture and Deputy Director of Agriculture Department Mukesh Sinha also gave information on soil. Whereas, BK Nirmala said, India is an agricultural country. The land of India is the land of spirituality and the fragrance of spirituality is mixed in the air and water here. In this eternal creation, the relationship between soul, God and nature is very important.

संपूर्ण विश्व में ब्रह्माकुमारीज द्वारा पर्यावरण जागृति लाने तथा कृषि में सुधार के लिए कई प्रयास हो रहे हैं। इसी संदर्भ में प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय के स्थानीय सेवा केंद्र चौधरी बगान में विश्व मृदा दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर रविवार को कार्यक्रम हुआ।
विश्व मृदा दिवस के अवसर पर हरमू रोड ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ रांची केंद्र में दीप प्रज्वलन करते हुए डॉ अरुण कुमार सिंह वैज्ञानिक वागवानी अनुसन्धान केंद्र प्लांडू, संतोष कुमार उप निदेशक कृषि विभाग, डॉ प्रभाकर महापात्र वैज्ञानिक विरसा कृषि विश्व विद्यालय, नूतन वर्मा सहयक प्राध्यापक पौधा प्रजनन अनुवांशिकी विभाग, पुष्पा जी शस्य विज्ञानं, मुकेश कुमार सिन्हा उप निदेशक कृषि विभाग, रोशन नीलकमल सहायक निदेशक कृषि विभाग एवं बी० के० निर्मला .
बागवानी अनुसंधान केंद्र पलाण्डू के प्रधान वैज्ञानिक डा. अरुण कुमार सिंह ने कहा कि हर वर्ष 5 दिसंबर को विश्व मृदा दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य लोगों में मिट्टी की उपयोगिता के प्रति जागरूक करना है। ‘कृषि विभाग के उप निदेशक संतोष कुमार ने कहा कि मृदा के संरक्षण के लिए किसानों को शाश्वत यौगिक खेती को अपनाकर आत्म विश्लेषण करते हुए
मृदा स्वास्थ्य पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है। बिरसा कृषि विश्वविद्यालय, मृदा विभाग के वैज्ञानिक डॉ प्रभाकर महापात्र, सहायक प्राध्यापक नूतन वर्मा, पुष्पा जी शस्य विज्ञान और कृषि विभाग के उप निदेशक मुकेश सिन्हा ने भी मिट्टी पर जानकारी दी। वहीं, ब्रह्माकुमारी निर्मला बहन बोली, भारत कृषि प्रधान देश है। भारत की धरती अध्यात्म की धरती है और यहां की हवा पानी में अध्यात्म की खुशबू मिली हुई है। इस अनन्त सृष्टि में आत्मा, परमात्मा तथा प्रकृति का संबंध बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण है।
