Ludhiana (Punjab): A social service campaign by the Brahma Kumaris on the topic “Happy Life & Healthy Society” started from Jammu on April 28th and will reach Mumbai on June 16th. In Ludhiana, BK Saraswati (Centre In-Charge of the Brahma Kumaris) welcomed the Social Service Campaign.
The objective of this campaign is to make people aware of the secrets of a Happy and Peaceful Life, encourage people for Purity and Cleanliness of Mind, and to empower them Spiritually and Morally to be free from social evils, blind faith and addictions.
Programs at fourteen different places were arranged by the Brahma Kumaris, Ludhiana, which include Punjabi Bhawan, the Jeet Foundation, Women’s Jail, Boster Jail, Jain Sabha, the Braille School, Nishkam School, Drug De-Addiction at Civil Hospital, a program at Darpan NGO, Ashirwad NGO, Abhikalpna NGO, Central Jail, and a talk for Transgenders.
Motivational speaker BK Amir Chand, BK Meenakshi, BK Shailja, BK Reena, BK Poonam, and BK Sahil delivered talks on the topics Positive Thinking, Happy Life and Healthy Society, and Stress-Free Life, etc. Dr. Parvinder Pal Singh Sidhu (Civil Surgeon), Dr Geeta (SMO, Civil Hospital), Bhai Sucha Singh (Head Granthi, Dukhbhanjan Gurudwara Sahib), Mr. Davinder Basant (Jail Superintendent), Mr. Shamsher Singh Boparai, Padam Shree Dr. Surjit Patar, Mr Karamveer Gulati (one of the head Trustees, Arya Samaj, Ludhiana), Mr. Harpreet Dang and well known social workers were present as special guests during the events.
In the evening, a motivational talk was delivered by BK Amir Chand at Vishwa Shanti Sadan, Ludhiana. People from various sectors such as Banks, NGOs, Industrialists, Blind Children, Senior Citizens, Mentally Challenged Children’ s parents and staff, Transgenders and founders of various organizations received benefit from the campaign and appreciated the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris to work whole-heartedly for creating a new social order where happiness and peace prevail.

लुधियाना (पंजाब)। लुधियाना की सेंटर इंचार्ज बीके सरस्वती ने सोशल सर्विस कैंपेन के तहत जम्मू से मुंबई की यात्रा पर निकली बस का स्वागत किया। खुशहाल जीवन एवं स्वस्थ समाज को लेकर चल रही यह यात्रा 16 जून को मुंबई में समाप्त होगी। इसका उद्देश्य लोगों को खुशहाल एवं शांतिपूर्ण जीवन जीने के लिए प्रेरित करना है। लोगों को बताना है कि कैसे मन एवं विचारों में पवित्रता रखकर, आध्यात्मिक जीवन जिया जा सकता है। अब तक यह कार्यक्रम लुधियाना के 14 स्थानों पर आयोजित किया जा चुका है। कार्यक्रम में मोटिवेशनल स्पीकर बीके अमीर चंद, बीके मीनाक्षी, बीके शैलजा, बीके रीना, बीके पूनम एवं बीके साहिल ने पॉजिटिव थिंकिंग, हैप्पी लाइफ एवं हेल्दी सोसायटी को लेकर विचार रखे। इस दौरान बैंक, एनजीओ, उद्योग, ट्रांसजेंडर्स से लेकर अन्य समुदाय के लोगों-बच्चों ने हिस्सा लिया।
