Hathras ( Uttar Pradesh ): A seminar on “Social, Administrative, Judicial Role in Protection of Senior Citizens” was organized on World Old Age Person’s Day at Anandpuri Colony Center of Brahma Kumaris located on Aligarh Road.The program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Ms. Kumud Upadhyay, District Homeopathic Officer Dr. Ashok Chauhan, Dr. BP Singh, Dr. PP Singh, BK Shanta sister member Permanent Lok Adalat Manish Kaushik.
Kumud Upadhyay, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, who was present as the chief guest, said that it is Indian original culture to nurture elders with respect and affection. If an elderly person is suffering due to lack of affection, cooperation in his own house, then there are all the provisions in the courts to get justice for him.
Special guest District Homeopathic Medical Officer Dr. Ashok Chauhan said that although the elderly are the beauty of the house, but due to some circumstances, if their happiness and health is fulfilled in a good old age home, then the old age home system is fine.
Municipal President Ashish Sharma, present as the guest of honor, said that the courts can give justice, but after that justice, it has been seen that the life of the elderly in the house becomes complete. The social order is to respect one’s elders.
Member Permanent Lok Adalat Manish Kaushik said that if any kind of problems of the parents are not resolved at the administrative level, then it can be completed through the court process, but at all times the social remedy is to not let the quarrels of the house get out of the house.
Baba Devi Singh Nidar presented poetry on this occasion, “station ek sansar hai,jeevan hai ek rail” and garnered applause.
In her presidential address, BK Shanta , Raja Yoga teacher of Anandpuri Colony, said that when we were young and could not walk, the parents supported us with their fingers, so it becomes a duty that in old age instead of supporting the parents with sticks, let us also to give support of our hands.
Dr. P.P. Singh, Director of Premarghu Paramedical and Ayurveda, organized for the elderly on the elderly day is a commendable step by the BK sisters and family. BK Rakesh Agarwal also extended his best wishes. On this occasion, a medical camp was organized under the guidance of District Homeopathic Medical Officer Dr. Ashok Chauhan under the guidance of Dr. Prashant Gupta, Dr. Saurabh Kumar Soumari, Assistant Manoj Kumar. Immunity booster dose was given to all.
In the team of Prem Raghu Paramedical, Upasana Goud, Shalu, Lalitesh Rajput and Dr. Amit Sahni organized Ayurveda and Blood Sugar Testing Camp on World Elderly Day. Conducted by Dr. BP Singh, BK Dinesh expressed gratitude. Many dignitaries of the city and employees of Legal Services Authority were present on this occasion. BK Durgesh , BK Shweta , BK Gajendra Mai, Amit Gautam, Rajesh and Jitendra Pehalwan, Manoj Kumar, Gagan etc. were also present.

विश्व वृद्धजन दिवस के अवसर पर हुआ आयोजन
- शुगर जाँच के अलावा आयुर्वेद एवं होम्योपैथी चिकित्सा शिविर भी लगे बुजुर्गों को लाठी का सहारा नहीं, स्वजनों के सहयोग की जरूरत है
प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय के अलीगढ रोड स्थित आनन्दपुरी कालोनी केन्द्र पर विश्व वृद्धजन दिवस पर “बरिष्ठ नागरिकों के संरक्षण में सामाजिक, प्रशासनिक, न्यायिक भूमिका पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ दीप मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण की सचिव सुश्री कुमुद उपाध्याय, जिला होम्योपैथिक अधिकारी डॉ० अशोक चौहान, डॉ० बी०पी० सिंह, डॉ० पी०पी० सिंह, बी०के० शान्ता बहिन सदस्य स्थाई लोक अदालत मनीष कौशिक द्वारा प्रज्जवलन से हुआ बी०के० श्वेता बहिन ने संस्था का परिचय दिया तथा शिव वन्दना प्रस्तुत की।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण की सचिव सुश्री कुमुद उपाध्याय ने कहा कि बुजुगों का आदर एवं स्नेह से पालना भारतीय सनातन संस्कृति है। यदि किसी बुजुर्ग को अपने ही घर में स्नेह, सहयोग न मिलकर कष्ट मिल रहा है तो उसके लिए अदालतों में उन्हें न्याय दिलाने के तमाम प्रावधान हैं।
विशिष्ट अतिथि जिला होम्योपैथिक चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ० अशोक चौहान ने कहा कि हालाकि बुजुर्ग घर की शोभा होते हैं लेकिन किन्ही परिस्थितियों के कारण उनकी खुशी, स्वास्थ्य यदि अच्छे वृद्धाश्रम में पूरी होती है तो वृद्धाश्रम व्यवस्था ठीक है।
अतिविशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित नगरपालिका अध्यक्ष आशीष शर्मा ने कहा कि अदालतें न्याय दे सकती हैं लेकिन उस न्याय के बाद घर में बुजुर्ग का जीवन सम्पूर्ण नकंमय हो जाता है ऐसा देखा गया है। सामाजिक व्यवस्था अपने बुजुर्ग का सम्मान करने की है।
सदस्य स्थाई लोक अदालय मनीष कौशिक ने अभिभावकों की किसी भी प्रकार की समस्याओं का समाधान यदि प्रशासनिक स्तर पर नहीं होता है तो अदालती प्रक्रिया से वह पूर्ण की जा सकती है लेकिन हरसमय सामाजिक उपाय घर के झगड़े को घर से बाहर न निकलने देने का है। बाबा देवी सिंह निडर ने इस अवसर पर काव्यपाठ प्रस्तुत किया कोटि कोटि बंदन अभिनन्दन है जननी कूं जानै जो जन्म हेतु सहे कष्ट मारे हैं दोहाकार प्रमुदयाल प्रभु ने अपना दोहा कुछ इस प्रकार प्रस्तुत किया “स्टेशन संसार है. जीवन है एक रेल” सुनाकर तालियाँ बटोरी। अपने अध्यक्षीय सम्बोधन में आनन्दपुरी कालोनी की राजयोग शिक्षिका बी०के० शान्ता बहिन ने गावनात्मक विचार रखते हुए कहा कि जब हम छोटे थे और चल नहीं पाते थे तो माता-पिता ने हमें अपनी अंगुली का सहारा दिया था इसलिए यह मारा फर्ज बन जाता है कि वृद्धावस्था से गुजरते हुए माता-पिता को लाठी का सहारा देने की बजाये हम भी अपने हाथ का सहारा दें।
प्रेमरघु पैरामैडीकल एवं आयुर्वेद के निदेशक डॉ० पी०पी० सिंह ने बुजुर्ग दिवस पर बुजुगों के लिए आयोजन ब्रह्माकुमारी बहिनों एवं परिवार का सराहनीय कदम है। बी०के० राकेश अग्रवाल ने भी शुभकामनायें दी। इस अवसर पर जिला होम्योपैथिक चिकित्साधिकारी डॉ० अशोक चौहान के निर्देशन में डॉ. प्रशान्त गुप्ता, डॉ. सौरभ कुमार सौमारी, सहायक मनोज कुमार के सानिध्य में चिकित्सा शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इम्यूनिटी बूस्टर डोज सभी को दी गई।
