On behalf of the medical wing, last year a Diamond Diabetes project was launched as Diabetes Camps. During this tenure many BK brothers and sisters and other contact souls benefited after attending the camp. At the initial phase of the camp, many participants came with 500-600 mg/dl blood glucose level, and after attending the 7-day Diabetes shivir their blood glucose level came down to 100-125 mg/dl.
We are extremely happy to announce the good news that after April 2020, the Diabetes camp will restart every month, and we are planning to conduct the camp on a regular basis.
Diabetes is widespread throughout the world and this disease is spreading like an epidemic. Diabetes is a silent disease. People may not realize that they have diabetes until and unless they develop serious complications. This disease can be prevented by creating awareness about the disease, and by changing one’s lifestyle. Even if one is suffering from the disease for a long time one can prevent oneself from worsening the condition.
So anyone — whether its BK students, surrendered sisters or brothers, or any contact souls or relatives and anyone new to the organization — who is suffering from diabetes, whether they are in the initial phase of the disease or is suffering from uncontrolled diabetes, can attend the camp.
To participate in the camp, kindly register through the following instructions:
1) It is compulsory to register to attend the camp.
2) Anyone below the age of 60 years can attend the camp. Those who are below the age of 60 years but are unable to do exercise due to any reason cannot attend the camp.
3) Anyone suffering from heart or kidney disease or any serious psychiatric illness or is unable to do exercise due to knee problems/aches cannot participate in the camp. They can instead get treatment from Global Hospital, Mount Abu or contact Jagatjit Bhai for further details (941-346-4808)
4) Participants should compulsorily be accompanied by some attendant.
5) All should bring your glucometer to the camp. If you don’t have one you can purchase the glucometer from here.
6) Kindly bring your medicines and health file along with you.
7) You will have to walk long distances in Shantivan and also do exercise. So you will have to compulsorily bring your sports shoes or canvas shoes to protect your foot. If you don’t have one, kindly get footwear that fits your foot size.
8) Kindly do the following tests one week before attending the camp. If all the tests are done within 1 month of the camp date it will be accepted. Otherwise, you will have to bring your latest reports of the following:

आप सभी को यह याद दिला रहे है कि पिछले साल शांतिवन में मेडिकल विंग की तरफ से डायबिटीज़ शिविर के लिए डायमंड प्रोजेक्ट का लॉन्चिंग किया गया था और शिविर में अनेक बीके भाई-बहनें, संबंध संपर्क वाले भाई-बहनें भाग लेकर लाभान्वित भी हुए थे। 500 या 600 शुगर से आते थे और 7 दिन के बाद लगभग 100 या 125 शुगर से जाते थे। आप सभी को यह खुशखबरी सुनाने में हमें बहुत हर्ष हो रहा है कि बापदादा की सीजन के पश्चात ही अप्रैल 2020 मे डायबिटीज शिविर हर महीना पुनः शुरू होने जा रहा है। बापदादा, त्रिमूर्ति दादियां, तथा आदरणीय मुन्नी बहन जी के विशेष शुभकामनाओं से सर्व के कल्याण प्रति यह शिविर आगे भी नियमित चालू रहेगा।
सारे विश्व में और खास हमारे ब्राह्मण परिवार में भी यह बीमारी एक महामारी के रूप में फैलती जा रही है। क्योंकि यह एक खामोश बीमारी है, जब तक किसी को कोई कॉम्प्लिकेशन नहीं हो जाए तब तक पता भी नहीं लगता है। शुरुआत में ही इस बीमारी को समझ कर अपनी जीवनशैली को बदल दिया जाए तो इसे छुटकारा मिल सकता है। अगर कोई इस बीमारी से बहुत दिनों से पीड़ित है तो भी इसके दुष्प्रभाव से बच सकते हैं।
इसलिए इस शिविर में कोई भी चाहे बीके विद्यार्थी, टीचर्स बहनें, समर्थित भाई, जिज्ञासु, तथा संबंध संपर्क वाली आत्माये जिन्हे यह बीमारी प्रारंभिक स्तर में है या अनियंत्रित रहता है…… भाग ले सकते है।
शिविर में भाग लेने के लिए निम्नलिखित बातें कृपया ध्यान रखें तथा रजिस्ट्रेशन करना है।
शांतिवन में आयोजित डायबिटीज शिविर में भाग लेने हेतु विशेष सूचनाएं:
1. रजिस्ट्रेशन कराना अनिवार्य है।
2. 60 वर्ष से कम आयु वाले ही इसमें भाग ले सकते है। अगर कोई कम उम्र के हैं परंतु चल फिर नहीं सकते है या कसरत नहीं कर सकते हैं तो वह इस शिविर में भाग नहीं ले ।
3. अगर किसी को किडनी की वा हार्ट की विशेष तकलीफ है, मानसिक बीमारियों से ग्रसित है अथवा घुटनों में दर्द के कारण व्यायाम नहीं कर सकते है तो वह इस में भाग न लेकर ग्लोबल हॉस्पिटल माउंट आबू में इलाज हेतु बीके जगतजीत भाई (9413464808) से संपर्क करें।
4. अपने साथ एक अटेंडेंट (साथी) जरूर ले आवे। विशेष घर में खाना बनाने वाले, देखभाल करने वाले आये तो अच्छा होगा, गृहस्थ में रहने वाले अपने युगल (spouse) को जरूर ले आये । कोई भी छोटे बच्चों को साथ लेकर ना आये।
5. सभी अपना ग्लूकोमीटर जरूर साथ लेकर आए। अगर नहीं है तो यहां से भी खरीद सकते हैं।
6. सभी अपनी दवाइयां तथा हेल्थ फाइल साथ लेकर आना ना भूले।
7. शांतिवन में दूर-दूर तक चलना पड़ता है, तथा व्यायाम करना पड़ता है इसलिए अपने साथ स्पोर्ट्स शूज व कैनवस शूज (जूते) जरूर ले आए अगर नहीं है तो पैर को ठीक से फिटिंग होने वाला जूता खरीद कर अवश्य ले आये।
8. शिविर में आने से 1 सप्ताह पहले निम्नलिखित टेस्ट जरूर करा कर आये। अगर यह सारी टेस्ट्स 1 महीने के अंदर का है तो अच्छा होगा नहीं तो लेटेस्ट रिपोर्ट ले करके आये।
