Rajgarh ( Madhya Pradesh ): Brahma Kumaris in collaboration with the District Jail administration organized a seven-day Gita discourse in Rajgarh for Stress Relief and Moral Uplift of prisoners, which was inaugurated by the District Jail Superintendent N.S Rana, Brahma Kumaris District in-charge BK Madhu, BK Surekha, social worker Partap Singh Sisodia, Manager Soil Development Bank Arvind Saxena (retired) and Deputy Jailer Shiv Namdev, by lighting the inauguration lamp.
Jail Superintendent N.S Rana congratulated and thanked the Brahma Kumaris for regularly organizing such programs in jails which help the prisoners to adopt a better path leading to improvement in their lives. He appealed to the sisters to keep spreading this knowledge in the future also.
In the series, BK Madhu informed that Gita is the compilation of the words spoken by God Himself, which are important for the entire humanity in today’s context. Gita teaches us the art of living. She hoped that prisoner brothers and sisters until the time they are here should derive benefits from it to improve their lives and leave the place with a good aim.
BK Surekha, on the first day of the Gita discourse, gave detailed information on Mahabharat in the context of the modern period. Time is repeating itself and every human being is going through inner conflicts, as such the knowledge of Gita is exposing our shortcomings, and by improving those we can become super humans. She explained in detail the characters of Kauravas and Pandavas.
All the prisoners enjoyed the discourse peacefully, which will continue for the next seven days.

जिला जेल में हुआ गीता प्रवचन का शुभारंभ
ब्रह्माकुमारी राजगढ़ एवं जेल प्रशासन के संयुक्त प्रयास से बंदियों को तनाव मुक्त एवं नैतिक उत्थान हेतु जिला जेल परिसर में “सप्त दिवसीय गीता प्रवचन” माला का आयोजन किया गया। जिसका उद्घाटन प्रभारी जिला जेल अधीक्षक एन एस राणा , ब्रह्मा कुमारीज की जिला प्रभारी बीके मधु दीदी, बीके सुरेखा बहन, समाजसेवी प्रताप सिंह सिसोदिया ,भूमि विकास बैंक के रिटायर्ड बैंक मैनेजर अरविंद सक्सेना , रिटायर्ड बैंक मैनेजर, शिव नामदेव ,उप जेलर महोदय ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर किया। प्रभारी जेल अधीक्षक एन एस राणा जी ने इस कार्य के लिए ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था को बधाई दी और कहा की जेलों में ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था निरंतर ऐसे कार्य करके हमारे बंदी भाईयो को अच्छे मार्ग पर चलने के लिए समझाते है, जिससे उनके जीवन में उत्तरोत्तर सुधार आता है इस ज्ञान को आगे भी बंदी भाई बहनों को सुनाने की अपील की।
इसी श्रंखला में ब्रह्माकुमारी मधु दीदी ने कहा कि गीता स्वयं भगवान के मुख से उच्चारे हुए महावाक्यो का संकलन है जिसकी आज संपूर्ण मानव समाज को अत्यंत आवश्यकता है।गीता हमे जीवन जीने की कला सिखाती है और साथ ही सभी बंदी भाई बहनों से शुभ आशा व्यक्त की , कि आप जब तक यहां है तब तक इसका लाभ ले और अपने जीवन को अच्छा बनाए, यहां से कुछ अच्छा लक्ष्य लेकर जाए।
इस प्रकार ब्रह्माकुमारी सुरेखा दीदी ने आगे गीता प्रवचन माला के प्रथम दिन वर्तमान समय आधुनिक महाभारत काल के बारे में विस्तार से बताया कि समय अपने आपको दोहरा रहा है ,हर मानव आंतरिक द्वंद से गुजर रहा है ,ऐसे में गीता का ज्ञान हमें आईना दिखाकर हमारी कमियों को उजागर करता है जिन्हें सुधार कर हम श्रेष्ठ मानव बन सकते हैं । उन्होंने कौरव पांडव प्रवृत्तियों के बारे में विस्तार पूर्वक बताया । इसका सभी बंदी भाई बहनों ने शांति से आनंद लिया और इसी तरह यह प्रवचन माला अगले 7 दिनों तक लगातार चलेगी।
