Seminar On World Suicide Prevention Day By Brahma Kumaris Hathras

Hathras( Uttar Pradesh): To mark the World Suicide Prevention Day, Brahma Kumaris of Anandpuri Colony in Hathras, under its ‘Youth for Global Peace‘ initiative,  held a seminar.  The venue was Prem Raghu Ayurvedic Medical College and Bagla Inter College. BK Shanta and Dr. P. P. Singh, along with Rakesh Sharma and Rakesh Aggarwal,  inaugurated this program.  Stress Relief was discussed in depth at this Seminar.

BK Shanta, while describing suicide as a challenge infront of the society today said that stress is created when we internalize the problems or situations of our lives. If we wish to remain happy, we must learn how to take blessings from everyone.

BK Durgesh held a session of Rajayoga with guided commentary for the youth and teachers attending the seminar.  She said that to escape being stressed,  we should make it a habit to get up early in the morning and practice Rajayoga.

Dr. P. P.Bagla, Director of the Paramedical College, expressed his gratitude towards everyone. Along with him, Rakesh Sharma, Dr. R. K. Singh, Dr. K. K. Singh, Dr. Bharat Sharma, Dr. Manish Kumar, Dr. Abhinav, Dr. Vivek Awasthi, Dr. Sudharani, Dr. Kusum, Ragini Prashar, Practice Pramod Kumar, Abhay Kumar Sharma, Gajendra and the students were present.

While addressing the program at P.C. Bagla Inter College,  BK Shanta said that in the times of stiff competition, challenging situations will come in life, but one should never allow oneself to become so dejected as to think about suicide.  We should share our problems with our parents and teachers and feel light.

Rakesh Shukla, Principal,  while expressing his gratitude towards everyone said that in spirituality lies the solution to every problem. One who loves humanity can never become dejected.
