Rajarshi Shah, I.A.S., Additional Collector sent an appreciation letter to Brahma Kumaris Sangareddy for preparing and distributing cooked food in the slum areas during the pandemic.
Sangareddy ( Telangana ): In order to offer relief to the masses during pandemic induced lockdown, the Brahma Kumaris of Sangareddy in Telangana, have been preparing food and distributing it to the needy families from one week. People’s problems have multiplied with the imposition of lockdown by the government, as they cannot go anywhere to get food or water.
Brahma Kumaris having a branch at Sangareddy District Headquarters Town, are preparing food on their premises with cleanliness and positive vibrations, and handing over cooked food packets to about 550 families everyday, with the help of Municipal Staff.
Sangareddy District Collector and covid patients highly appreciated these services of the Brahma Kumaris. Rajarshi Shah, I.A.S., Additional Collector sent an appreciation letter to Brahma Kumaris for their humanitarian support during the pandemic.
BK Sumangala, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Sangareddy, said that they will continue distributing the food packets till the lockdown ends. Today 175 packets were distributed in Zaheerabad, 100 packets in Sangareddy, 50 packets in Jogipet and 20 packets in Sadashivpet.
