Chandrapur( Maharashtra ): On the first Remembrance Day of BK Kusum of Chandrapur, Former National Coordinator of the Culture Wing of Rajayoga Education and Research Foundation, many programs were held to mark this day. Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Culture, Maharashtra, awarded the Samaj Gaurav or Pride of Society award to BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris and BK Dr. Rajrishi Basavraj, Director of Hubli Zone of Brahma Kumaris.
BK Mruthyunjaya and BK Dr. Rajrishi Basavraj, laid the foundation stone of BK Kusum Park and also did tree plantation on this occasion. The program to mark the first Remembrance Day of BK Kusum was held at Priyadarshini Cultural Auditorium.
BK Mruthyunjaya, while speaking on this occasion said that BK Kusum had a large vision, which can be seen from the Godly services done here. She led the Culture Wing smoothly towards progress. She was a nature lover, that is why prominent citizens of the area have dedicated a beautiful Municipality park in her name.
BK Dr. Rajrishi Basavraj said that one can see the reflection of BK Kusum’s personality in the Godly services here. BK Gaekwad from Dubai, Monika Patel, Actor, BK Dayal of Art and Culture Wing, BK Satish and BK Nitin from Mount Abu, also paid their tributes to BK Kusum. Jayagopal Luthra and Shyam Netani dedicated a beautiful song in her memory.
BK Kunda, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Chandrapur, spoke about the Godly services of BK Kusum. Floral tributes were offered in front of her picture.
