Pachore( Madhya Pradesh): The Brahma Kumaris of Pachore in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, celebrated World Elders Day. BK Vaishali felicitated senior citizens on this occasion. Upendra Singh Raghuvanshi, Garden Superintendent, Madhya Pradesh Administration, Girraj Patidar, MPIB Supervisor, Balwant Singh Raghuvanshi, Central Bank of India, Additional Branch Manager, attended this event and expressed their good wishes. The program started with a candle lighting ceremony.
BK Vaishali, in her address said that the first man at the start of creation, is shown to be an elderly man, be it Adam or Brahma. Elders live a carefree life, free from the responsibility of the family. Since they know the reality of life, they become experienced and are not fooled easily. They have had their share of pleasures, hence it is easy for their mind to remember God. Today, many Old Age homes have mushroomed. Those who have children and still remain in these old age homes, is a blot on our society.
Elders Day is justified only when we learn to honor their feelings, make time for them, seek their blessings and behave well with them.

गिर्राज पाटीदार( एम. पी. ई. बी. सुपरवाइजर), बलवंत सिंह रघुवंशी (सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया अतिरिक्त शाखा प्रबंधक) ने वृद्ध दिवस कार्यक्रम में अपनी शुभकामनाएं अर्पित की।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत दीप प्रज्वलन से की गई।
ब्रह्माकुमारी वैशाली दीदी ने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा कि सृष्टि के आरंभ में जिस प्रथम पुरुष की चर्चा की जाती है उसे वृद्ध दिखाया गया है फिर चाहे उसे एडम, आदम ,कहें या ब्रह्मा,
वृद्ध व्यक्ति पारिवारिक कर्तव्य को समेट कर निश्चिंत जीवन जीता है क्योंकि वह जीवन की सच्चाई से पूर्णता अवगत हो जाते हैं अनुभवी कभी धोखा नहीं खाते। वृद्धव्यक्ति वैभव ,पदार्थ , सबका झूठा रस चख लेने के बाद उनके अंदर आसक्ती खत्म हो जाती है ,इस उम्र में भगवान मैं मन को लगाना सहज हो जाता है ,कर्मेंद्रियों में चंचलता नहीं रहती ,ऐसी अवस्था में भगवान की याद भी सहज हो जाती है,
लेकिन आज हम देखते हैं कि जगह-जगह वृद्धआश्रम बनाए गए हैं, जिनके बच्चे नहीं होते हैं उनके लिए यह आश्रम ठीक है ,लेकिन जिनके बेटे बहु होते हुए भी वह वृद्ध आश्रम में रहते हैं तो यह समाज के लिए शर्मनाक बात है।
वृद्ध दिवस तभी सार्थक होगा जब हम वृद्धजनों का सम्मान करेंगे उनके विचारों का सम्मान करेंगे उनको समय देंगे, उनसे आशीर्वाद लेंगे एवं उनसे अच्छा व्यवहार करेंगे।
