Bhilwara ( Rajasthan ): The Bhilwara center of Brahma Kumaris Rajasthan organized a day long awareness program for the ‘My Rajasthan, Prosperous Rajasthan’ campaign, running in the entire state for twenty days. The chief guest on this occasion was Mr. Gopal Ram Birda, Head of the District Council of the area. The campaign team members were also felicitated at the program.
Mr. Birda, speaking on this occasion said that the focal areas of this campaign including environment protection, energy conservation, water conservation, farmers’ empowerment, total health and de- addiction and prevention of chronic heart ailments which are also the areas on which the Rajasthan Government is working actively. He expressed his good wishes for the success of this initiative.
BK Dr. Vaishali from Pune said that whenever any work for the good of all is commenced, it brings properly all around. This campaign will bring cleanliness not only at the physical level in our society, but also on the mental level.
The co-ordinator of this campaign, BK Ravi explained its objectives to the audience. A total of 21 programs were held in one day in Bhilwara to generate public awareness regarding this campaign. A pledge was undertaken by people at these functions to work for the aims of this campaign.
Creative plays were used to get across the message to the people at these functions. At a program held in this District Jail, the inmates pledged to stay away from substance abuse. Jail Incharge Mr. Bhairon Singh along with its staff also attended this function.
Tree plantation was done at Harni Mahadev Road . Other local organizations also participated in it.
