Anantapur ( Odisha ) : A tree planting program was organized on World Environment Day by Brahma Kumaris Cuttack at Vishwa Shanti Sarovar (Retreat centre) in Anantapur.
About 50 different plants, such as Banayan, Lychee, Peepal, Karanji, Sissoo, Champa, Mango, Flame, Bel, etc., were planted by Vishwa Shanti Sarovar at the nearest AB Mohanty farm house field, with the help of the Amanpada Gita patasala (BK study place) and their youth teams near their village temple, fruit garden and nearby burial sites.
BK Gopal, BK Nathmal, and BK Debasmita along with other Brahma Kumars and Kumaris participated in the plantation.
