Ocala, Florida ( USA ): The opening program for a new service place of the Brahma Kumaris in Ocala took place in the presence of BK Waddy, Director of Brahma Kumaris in Florida, and BK Shireen, Coordinator of Brahma Kumaris in Tampa, along with the BK family from Tampa and Orlando. Highlights included remarks from BK students, honoring of BK Barbara, and a memorial for student Colleen Schnabel who had just passed.
BK Shireen gave a talk on the meaning of illusion, and then BK Waddy shared her thoughts on love. The event concluded with the “Inside God’s Heart” activity. All were very happy to be a part of the opening celebration.
BK Anne attended an ad hoc Assisted Living meeting with a friend of BK Dave from Miami who owns an assisted living facility in Orlando. BK Amar and BK family from Miami, Orlando, and Ocala were in attendance. Education continues as the family moves towards realizing the heartfelt intention of providing Assisted Living Facility (ALF) service in Florida for elderly BKs.
