The Art of Not Thinking : Online Talk on 14 July

Are you thinking too much too often?

To create a deep stillness of mind whenever you want is an art. It does not mean that you have to cut yourself off from life. It means learning how to make your mind peaceful.

A student and teacher with the Brahma Kumaris since 1992, Rona Schweitz has lectured and facilitated seminars and retreats in America, Europe, South America, India and throughout the Caribbean. She is the author of several books and audio CDs that have been translated into English, Spanish, Dutch and other languages. Rona was born in The Netherlands and grew
up in Surinam, South America. Her love for understanding the deeper truths of life combined with a desire to serve humanity led her to study medicine at Erasmus University in The Netherlands. During her 15 years of practice in clinical medicine, her experiences were quite varied — ranging from working in refugee camps to the fields of psychiatry, geriatrics, pain management, and end-of-life care. In 1999, she moved from The Netherlands to Curacao where she started the Brahma Kumaris’ activities in the Netherlands Antilles and the Dominican Republic. Since 2017, Rona has coordinated the activities of the Manhattan Meditation Center in New York, USA.
