Mount Abu( Rajasthan ): A Conference on ‘Envisioning A Better Tomorrow‘ was organized by Scientists, Engineers and Architects(SEA) Wing of RERF, at the Gyansarovar Premises. 450 delegates participated from all over India and Nepal. It comprised of plenary sessions, panel discussions, lectures, insight sessions, interactive workshops etc. The delegates attended the Meditation sessions as well.
The Conference was inaugurated by Ashok Chandra Panda, Minister of Science and Technology, Government of Odisha. Ranveer Singh Gangwa, Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, presided over its Valedictory Session.

Minister of Science and Technology, Government of Odisha, Honorable Ashok Chandra Panda in his inaugural address, said that he was thankful to have got this opportunity to visit the Brahma Kumaris premises for the third time. Brahma Kumaris is not an institution but a movement and philosophy. Indian scientists have achieved spectacular success since independence. It is very important to blend scientific endeavors with spiritual attainments. Women and Youth will be the game changers in India’s success story. He gave a few parameters for a better tomorrow- Youth, Peace , Non Violence and Spirituality. Our greatest contribution as citizens of Bharat will be to try and attain higher spiritual growth. Brahma Kumaris are marching ahead in spiritual transformation.
BK Bharat Bhushan, National Coordinator of SEA Wing, explained the theme of this conference. BK Karuna, Multi Media Head of Brahma Kumaris and BK Dr. Nirmala, Joint Chief of Brahma Kumaris, also expressed their good wishes. Beautiful cultural performances were showcased for the audience. Mr S K Mishra, IRS, Income Tax Dept. Govt. of India, New Delhi were also part of the inaugural session.
Ranveer Singh Gangwa, Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha, said that he was very happy to be there. He had attended a Conference on Rural Agriculture at Brahma Kumaris, 11 years ago. Every time he experiences deep peace on coming here. He is in regular touch with the BK Center in Hisar. The Brahma Kumaris teach us how to live well, interact in society and build a happy family life. It is doing the work of disseminating good values in the society. It is showing the right path to humanity all over the world. It has done appreciable work in many sectors especially drug deaddiction. It’s philosophy of ‘One World One Family’ is highly appreciable. If scientists and engineers are armed with Rajyoga, they can take the country towards becoming the World Teacher again. These conferences will inspire the participants to work creatively towards nation building.
BK Mohan Singhal, Chairperson of the SEA Wing felicitated the Deputy Speaker of Haryana Vidhan Sabha with shawl and framed picture of Supreme Soul.
Dadi Ratanmohini, Chief of Brahma Kumaris, sent a written message, which was read to the audience on her behalf by BK Anjali. She said that she was very pleased with this initiative under the ‘Year of Positive Transformation‘. The whole play is between today and tomorrow. Today, we are struggling in the dark age, but tomorrow we will flourish in the Golden Age. She urged everyone to practice Rajyoga to make Golden Age a reality soon.
BK Asha, Vice Chairperson of SEA Wing from Bhilai, in her video message said that the participants should try to benefit the maximum as they have got an opportunity to be in God’s abode and amongst spiritually inclined pure souls.
BK Bharat Bhushan, National Coordinator of SEA Wing, shared a resolution of the summary and action plan made through this conference.
BK Avtar Singh, Director NDRI Karnal, seconded this resolution.
BK Sister Mohini, Additional Chief of Brahma Kumaris from New York, addressed the conference through video call. She said that Nation building should be the first responsibility of scientists and engineers. Connecting with the Self is a must to achieve higher learning and good concentration.
BK Sister Jayanti, Additional Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris, in her video message, said that everyone should ask themselves what they can do for a better tomorrow. A better world can be built with better values only. Meditation helps bring forth the inherent divine qualities of man.
