Newly elected Mayor Jagat Bahadur Annu said that I will put all my energy in living up to the trust the people of the city have reposed in me. There is ample potential for development in Jabalpur, people will automatically experience what development means in the coming times. After winning the Mayor election, Annu had reached the local main service center of Brahma Kumaris, ‘Shiv Smriti Bhavan’, Bhanwartal.
Annu said that whatever labor, planning and power is required for development, it is only spirituality that gives us. He said that a saint had told him that developing infrastructure does not mean development. Development takes place when there is a spiritual development of the individual and the society. Without this, there is no morality, values and peace, purity in the society.
On this occasion, Center in-charge BK Bhawna said that under the resolution and vision of the new mayor, it seems that now the city will set new dimensions of development. He said that only beautiful thoughts can create a beautiful world. God has given these resolutions inside Annu Bhai, and he will help in fulfilling these resolutions, and will give strength. On this occasion, the new mayor was honored with a turban-shawl and a letter of felicitation was also handed over to him. जबलपुर। नव निर्वाचित मेयर जगत बहादुर अन्नू ने कहा कि शहर वासियों ने जो विश्वास मुझ पर व्यक्त किया है, उस विश्वास पर खरा उतरने में, मैं पूरी ऊर्जा लगा दूंगा। जबलपुर में विकास की पर्याप्त संभावना है, आने वाले समय में लोग विकास का मतलब क्या होता है, ये अनुभव स्वत: करेंगे। अन्नू मेयर चुनाव जीतने के बाद अंतर्राष्टीय आध्यात्मिक संस्थान ब्रम्हाकुमारी के स्थानीय मुख्य सेवाकेंद्र ‘शिव स्मृति भवन’, भंवरताल पहुंचे थे।
अन्नू ने कहा कि विकास के लिए जो भी श्रम, योजना व शक्ति चािहए, वो हमें आध्यात्म ही देता है। उन्होंने कहा कि एक संत ने उन्हें बताया था कि इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर डेवलप करने का मतलब ही विकास नहीं होता। विकास तब संपूर्णता लेता है, जब व्यक्ति और समाज का आध्यात्मिक विकास होता है। इसके बिना समाज में नैतिकता, मूल्य और शांति, पवित्रता नहीं दिखती।
इस मौके पर सेवाकेंद्र प्रभारी भावना बहन ने कहा कि नए महापौर का जो संकल्प और विजन है, उसके तहत ऐसा लग रहा है कि अब शहर विकास के नए आयाम तय करेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि सुंदर संकल्प ही सुंदर संसार रच सकते हैं। अन्नू भाई के अंदर ये संकल्प परमात्मा ने दिए हैं, और वही इन संकल्पों को पूर्ण करने में मदद करेगा, व शक्ति देगा। इस अवसर पर नए मेयर का पगड़ी-शॉल से सम्मान कर उन्हें अभिनंदन पत्र भी सौंपा गया। अभिनंदन पत्र का वाचन स्वागत डॉ श्यामजी रावत ने किया, जबकि वर्षा बहन, ओमप्रकाश भाई, रीतेश भाई, डॉ दुबे ने पुष्पों से स्वागत किया।
