Kadma ( Haryana ): On the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, under the joint auspices of Brahma Kumaris Kadma-Jhojhukalan, My village, a Drug-free village campaign was organized which was inaugurated by Sarpanch Ashok Bunty and Medical Officer Dr. Suman Sheoran from the Community Health Center Jhojhukalan, regional in-charge BK Vasudha by showing God Shiva’s flag.
Under this campaign which lasted for 9 days, 2,690 people in 26 villages took an oath to give up drugs. The campaign concluded at Brahma Kumaris School Rambas.
District councilor representative Ashok Thalaur, who arrived as the chief guest on the occasion, said that India can become a world guru only through the all-round development of villages because India resides in villages. He said that the Brahma Kumaris are doing moral, character, and spiritual upliftment of the village with their sacrifice, penance, and service, only by which India can become a golden bird again because more than 70% of India’s population lives in villages.
Explaining the purpose of the campaign, Regional Director BK Vasudha said that today the rural people and the young generation of our country are becoming slaves of different types of addictions, which is a matter of concern.
She said that in order to awaken the innocent people of the harm caused by beedi, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and other intoxicants and the easy way to avoid them, our village and the young generation have to move towards spiritual values, meditation, Rajyoga, to increase their morale. A drug-free campaign was launched, which will definitely yield positive results.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Sarpanch Sudhir Sharma who said that it is a matter of great pride for the Brahma Kumaris organization to be established here for our rural areas. From time to time, through various events, people are spreading the art of living a virtuous life on the strength of spirituality, and family values in society, which will definitely bring positive results.
The convenor of the campaign and in-charge of Jhojhu Kalan Seva Kendra, BK Jyoti while narrating the report of the campaign said that during the 9-day campaign, which lasted from February 4 to February 12, about 2,690 people in 26 villages took an oath to remain drug-free and uplift their moral and character She shared the art of living a life of happiness, peace, and blissful spiritual style while living at home. BK Jyoti said that people were made aware of human values through a photo exhibition, drama, and discourses to make their drug-free life.
BK Vasudha expressed her gratitude to the sarpanch and people of all the villages who directly or indirectly cooperated in this drug-free campaign, and said that in the future we all together make our villages Gokul villages and bring back the feeling of brotherhood.

9 दिन तक चला इस अभियान के अंतर्गत 26 गांवों में 2690 लोगों ने नशा छोड़ने की शपथ ली दर्जनभर गांवों के सरपंचों ने अपने गांव में ब्रह्माकुमारीज पाठशाला खोलने का निमंत्रण दिया। अभियान का समापन ब्रह्मा कुमारीज पाठशाला रामबास में हुआ। इस अवसर पर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुंचे जिला पार्षद प्रतिनिधि अशोक थालौर ने कहा कि गांवों के सर्वांगीण विकास से ही भारत विश्व गुरु बन सकता है क्योंकि भारत गांवों में बसता है।
उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारी बहनें अपने त्याग तपस्या और सेवा से गांव का नैतिक, चारित्रिक व आध्यात्मिक उत्थान कर रही हैं जिससे ही भारत सोने की चिड़िया पुनः बन सकता है क्योंकि भारत की 70% से भी अधिक आबादी गांवों में बसती है। अभियान का उद्देश्य बताते हुए क्षेत्रीय संचालिका राजयोगिनी ब्रह्माकुमारी वसुधा बहन ने कहा की आज हमारे भारत देश के ग्रामीण लोग व युवा पीढ़ी विभिन्न प्रकार के व्यसनों के गुलाम होते जा रहे हैं जो एक चिंता का विषय है उन्होंने कहा की हमारे गांव के भोले भाले लोगों को व युवा पीढी को बीड़ी सिगरेट शराब ड्रग्स व अन्य नशीले द्रव्य पदार्थों से होने वाली हानि और उनसे बचने का सहज तरीका अपने मनोबल को बढ़ाने के लिए आध्यात्मिक मूल्य मेडिटेशन राजयोग के प्रति जागृत करने के लिए यह नशा मुक्त अभियान निकाला गया जिसके सकारात्मक परिणाम अवश्य आएंगे। समापन समारोह की अध्यक्षता सरपंच सुधीर शर्मा ने की और कहा कि हमारे ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के लिए ब्रह्माकुमारीज संस्था का यहां स्थापित होना बड़े गौरव की बात है समय-समय पर विभिन्न आयोजनों के द्वारा लोगों को अध्यात्म के बल पर सात्विक जीवन जीने की कला, पारिवारिक मूल्यों को समाज में फैला रही हैं जिससे अवश्य ही सकारात्मक परिणाम आएंगे । अभियान की संयोजक एवं झोझूकलां सेवाकेंद्र प्रभारी ब्रह्माकुमारी ज्योति बहन ने अभियान की रिपोर्ट सुनाते हुए कहा कि 4 फरवरी से 12 फरवरी तक चला यह 9 दिवसीय अभियान के दौरान 26 गांवों में लगभग 2690 लोगों को नशा मुक्त रहने व अपने नैतिक चारित्रिक उत्थान करने की शपथ दिलाई और उनको घर गृहस्थ परिवार में रहते हुए सुख शांति आनंदमय आध्यात्मिक शैली से जीवन जीने की कला बताई । ब्रह्माकुमारी ज्योति ने कहा कि लोगों को चित्र प्रदर्शनी, नाटक व प्रवचनों के द्वारा मानवीय मूल्यों को अपना नशा मुक्त जीवन बनाने के लिए जागरूक किया। ब्रह्माकुमारी वसुधा बहन ने सभी गांवों के सरपंचों एवं प्रबुद्ध लोगों जिन्होंने भी प्रत्यक्ष अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से इस नशा मुक्त अभियान में सहयोग दिया सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि भविष्य में हम सभी मिलकर अपने गांवों को गोकुल गांव बनाएंगे भ्रातृत्व की भावना पुनः लाएंगे। अभियान के दौरान विभिन्न गांवों के सरपंचों व प्रबुद्ध नागरिकों द्वारा अभियान यात्रियों ब्रह्माकुमारी बहनों का फूल मालाओं समृति चिन्ह शाल आदि से सम्मान किया।
