Leicester ( UK ): A multi-faith Remembrance Day was organized in Leicester, UK, to commemorate those who lost their lives protecting freedom from terrorism around the world. Lieutenant Colonel David Young, representatives of all major religions, the Army Benevolent Fund, Sikh Welfare and Cultural Society, Leicestershire and Rutland Police, Baroness Verma, and local dignitaries took part.
The guests were welcomed by the Brahma Kumaris Program Coordinators BK Maureen, Senior Rajyoga Teachers BK Sukanti and BK Indu in the UK, after which the message of Brahma Kumaris director in the Middle East and European countries BK Jayanti was conveyed by a two-minute silence. While paying tribute to the jawans, the heads of every religion prayed in the same way. Further, Queen Elizabeth’s message from Buckingham Palace was delivered by Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mike Kapur, in which he greeted all the organizers and also explained the importance of unity and solidarity. On this occasion BK Maureen and Parliamentary for International Development Secretary Baroness Verma expressed their views.

यूके के लेस्टर में दुनिया भर में आतंकवाद से स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा में अपनी जान गंवाने वाले लोगों की याद में मल्टी फैथ रिमेम्ब्रांस डे का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल डेविड यंग, सभी प्रमुख धर्मों के प्रतिनिधियों, आर्मी बेनेवोलेंट फंड, सिख वेलफेयर एंड कल्चरल सोसाइटी, लेस्टरशायर और रटलैंड पुलिस, बैरोनेस वर्मा और स्थानीय गणमान्य लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया। अतिथियां का स्वागत यूके में ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ की प्रोग्राम को-ऑर्डिनेटर बीके मौरीन, वरिष्ठ राजयोग शिक्षिका बीके सुकांति और बीके इंदु ने किया, जिसके पश्चात् मिडिल ईस्ट एवं यूरोपियन कन्ट्रीज में ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ की डायरेक्टर बीके जयंती का सन्देश सुनाया गया एक ओर सभा ने दो मिनट का मौन रख जवानों को पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की तो वहीं आगे हर धर्मं के प्रमुखों ने परंपरा अनुसार प्रार्थना की। आगे लिशेस्टरशायर के लॉर्ड लेफ्टिनेंट, माइक कपूर द्वारा बकिंघम पैलेस से क्वीन एलिज़ाबेथ का भेजा गया संदेश सुनाया, जिसमें उन्होंने सभी आयोजकों को शुभकामनाएं दी.. साथ ही एकता और एकजुटता के महत्व को स्पष्ट किया इस मौके पर बीके मौरीन और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विकास के लिए संसदीय सचिव बरोनेस वर्मा ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
