Brahma Kumaris Felicitated With Sushma Swaraj Award For Selfless Social Services.
Barwani ( Madhya Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Sendhwa in Madhya Pradesh, were honored with the Sushma Swaraj Award 2023, at a function held by the Mahila Morcha or Women’s Wing of BJP. Gajendra Patel, MP Lok Sabha from Khargone and Maya Narolia, State Head of BJP Mahila Morcha, felicitated the Brahma Kumaris with this honor. BK Chhaya, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris in Sendhwa, accepted this award on behalf of the Organization.
Gajendra Patel, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha while speaking on this occasion, said that he honors the the Brahma Kumaris sisters renunciate everything and dedicate themselves to establish peace in the society.
BK Chhaya presented the guests with Godly gifts and invited them to visit Mount Abu, the International headquarters of Brahma Kumaris.
The Sushma Swaraj Award was given to 10 prominent women for their extraordinary services for the society.
Maya Narolia, BJP Mahila Morcha Head, said that women have a special role in the Brahma Kumaris Organization, that is why she is associated with it. Here, women serve the society selflessly. She spoke about the ‘Ladli Behen’ scheme by the MP Government.
Om Soni, District Head, spoke about the life story of Sushma Swaraj, Former Foreign Minister of India, in whose memory this award has been instituted.
Ashwini Chauhan, Head of Nagar Palika, Maya Patel, State General Secretary of IKAI, Lakshmi Sharma, District Head of Mahila Morcha, along with a large number of women associated with the morcha, attended this program.
