Sadri ( Rajasthan ): Brahma Kumaris Sadri launched a National De-addiction Awareness Campaign from Azad Maidan (Ground). It was launched by P.P. Chaudhary, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Pali constituency in Sadri, and Pushpendra Singh Ranawat, MLA from Bali in the Pali district.
P.P. Chaudhary, MP Lok Sabha from Pali, said that society must become aware of this problem in order to safeguard its future generations. The launch of this de-addiction campaign is an appreciative initiative of the Brahma Kumaris.
Nimit Mehta, District Collector, advised all the district administrative and teaching department heads to be sensitive to the issue of drug addiction.
Vinay Muni of Jain Gurubhagwant upa parivartak, Gautam Muni, Sanjay, and Sarang Muni, Gurudev Dharamanand Vijay Masa, inspired people to get rid of drug addiction.
BK Suchita, In-charge of the local Brahma Kumaris center, said that this campaign will travel from village to village from Godvar to Mewar. We will help the villagers get rid of drug addiction and encourage them to pledge to stay away from substance abuse.
BK Sudhir of the Medical Wing gave the welcome speech. Shantilal Punmia, Social Worker, Jiwanraj Punmia, Mukesh Punmia, BK Dr. Banarasilal Shah, BK Sudhir, Dr. Gomti, Dr. BK Ravi, Dr. Bharati, BK Pushpa; Khumi Devi Bawari, Head of Sadri Municipality; Hiraram Jat, Deputy Head of Nagar Palika; Govind Meena, Mandal Incharge of BJP; and Advocate Heer Singh Rajpurohit, BJP Leader, also attended this event.
BK Usha, Anita Yashoda, Shraddha, Vinod, and Bheek Singh presented a drama with child artists on the theme of de-addiction.
Prafulla Singh Rao, Jiwanraj Lahore, Head of Pensioners Samaj, Hastimal Vaishnav, Vikram Singh Inda of Panchayat Samiti, Dinesh Meena, Former Head of Municipality, Dileep Soni, Gheesaram Jat, Head of Gramsewa Sehkari Samiti, Ghisulal Meghwal, Sarpanch, along with many villagers, attended this program. Citizen representatives of Mundara, Ghanerao, and Desuri villages were also present.
The Brahma Kumaris felicitated all the guests with mementos and flowers. The program was well coordinated by BK Sudhir from Shantivan.
