Ghatkopar, Mumbai ( Maharashtra ) : The 7th Edition of World Mental Health and Wellness Congress & Awards was held at The Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai where BK Nikunj (International Columnist and National Coordinator of Media Wing of Brahma Kumaris) was invited as the Chief Guest and felicitated with the “Most Prominent Leader in Mental Health” award at the event.
Mental Health is an integral component of Health. According to WHO “Health is a state of complete Physical, Mental and Social well-being and not merely the absence of disease”. Hence, Mental Health is not just absence of mental disabilities, but a state of mind that fosters positivity towards Self, Others, and Universe by Large, thus contributing to Wellness in the Society. Thoughtful Leaders contribute towards developing a “Mentally Healthy” Society.
The World Mental Health and Wellness Congress have acknowledged BK Nikunj as a Thoughtful Leader who through his writings (7500 + Published Columns) and preachings has contributed in adding values socially especially amongst youngsters. In his Keynote Speech, at the 7th Edition of World Mental Health and Wellness Congress & Awards, BK Nikunj said “ The Master (Soul) has to condition the Mind and not Vice Versa…. The Cure for all Mental Health is Within You and not Outside…” He urged all the participants to spare 1 minute out of 60 minutes every hour and pause to reflect on Self and Surroundings. All Participants experienced deep silence and bliss at the end of the session that ended with a short meditation experience.
BK Nikunj also handed over the awards in the Most Iconic Healthcare Leaders category to Healthcare Professionals that had gathered over there from over 62 Countries worldwide.
