Morena Brahma Kumaris Mark Environment Day with Plantation Drive

Morena ( Madhya Pradesh ): A function to observe World Environment Day was held by the Morena Center of the Brahma Kumaris in Madhya Pradesh. The chief guest on this occasion was Ms. Priyanka Das, District Collector of Morena. District Forest Officer Mr. P D Gervyal was the special guest.

Speaking at the function, Ms. Priyanka Das said that we must become sensitive towards environment protection. Sound pollution and use of plastics needs to be curbed on an urgent basis.

Mr. Gervyal, while interacting with the audience, said that if we wish to ensure the survival of the human race, we must plant more trees. We can gift each other plants on special occasions.

BK Rekha, In charge of the local Brahma Kumaris center, distributed 200 saplings to the assembled guests as a present on this occasion. A pledge was taken to plant 10,000 new trees in Morena.

BK Ritika informed the audience about the objectives of the Brahma Kumaris. The special guests were presented with Godly gifts and Tulsi plants.
