Raipur ( Chhattisgarh ): A workshop on Teacher’s Day was organized in Shanti Sarovar by the Education Wing of Brahma Kumaris. The Vice Chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Bhilai, Dr. M.K. Verma, Director of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bhilai), Rajat Moona, Triple I.T. Registrar Lt Col Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Regional Director Brahma Kumari Kamala and Brahma Kumari Diksha participated.
In his address, Swami Vivekananda Technical University Vice Chancellor Dr. Mukesh Kumar Verma said that today’s education is incomplete without including moral education. Present education is limited to acquiring technical expertise only. There is a great need for value based education at such times. In the age of materialism, we are getting away from spirituality, as a result of which we have forgotten our original form i.e. soul and God. Describing mother as the best teacher in the world, he said that the basic unit of our society is the family. Which we can educate through mothers. Mothers have more spirituality and religiosity than men. There is an age to learn. Therefore, moral and spiritual values should be taught from childhood itself.
Director of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bhilai) Rajat Moona said that everyone from whom we get to learn something in life is a teacher for all of us. One should not have any kind of arrogance over his ability and power. There is no use even from anger, so it should be avoided. Both these evils harm us. Nature teaches us through winter, heat and floods that man is inferior to him.
Lt Col Rajesh Kumar Mishra, Registrar of Triple I.T. said that values are very important in education. We are taught moral values along with patriotism in the army. The values we get from childhood at home are very useful when we grow up. Along with technical knowledge, knowledge of life values is also necessary. If we do not have a sense of welfare of humanity, then our education is incomplete.
Regional Director Brahma Kumari Kamala said that our education system has made a lot of progress. Present education is making good doctors and engineers, but due to lack of spiritual education, there has been a shortage of good people in the society. Despite being highly educated, the morale of the people is very weak. That’s why people are falling prey to depression. There is a need to maintain a balance of materiality and spirituality in life at such times.
Rajyoga teacher Brahma Kumari Diksha said that the teacher is the craftsman who does the work of sculpting many Chaitanya(live) idols. Our thinking becomes positive by the education of moral and spiritual values.

रायपुर: प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय के शिक्षाविद सेवा प्रभाग द्वारा शान्ति सरोवर में शिक्षक दिवस पर परिचर्चा का आयोजन किया गया। समारोह में स्वामी विवेकानन्द तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय भिलाई के कुलपति डॉ. एम.के. वर्मा, भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आई.आई.टी. भिलाई) के डायरेक्टर रजत मूना, ट्रीपल आई.टी. के रजिस्ट्रार लेफ्टिनेन्ट कर्नल राजेश कुमार मिश्रा, क्षेत्रीय निदेशिका ब्रह्माकुमारी कमला दीदी और ब्रह्माकुमारी दीक्षा दीदी ने भाग लिया।
अपने सम्बोधन में स्वामी विवेकानन्द तकनीकी वि.वि. के कुलपति डॉ. मुकेश कुमार वर्मा ने कहा कि नैतिक शिक्षा को शामिल किए बिना आज की शिक्षा अधूरी है। वर्तमान शिक्षा सिर्फ तकनीकी विशेषज्ञता हासिल करने तक ही सीमित है। ऐसे समय पर मूल्य आधारित शिक्षा की बहुत अधिक आवश्यकता है। शिक्षा में समग्रता का अभाव है। भौतिकता के दौर में हम आध्यात्मिकता से दूर होते जा रहे हैं। जिसके फलस्वरूप अपने मूल स्वरूप यानि आत्मा और परमात्मा को भूल गए हैं।
उन्होंने दुनिया में सबसे अच्छी शिक्षक माँ को बतलाते हुए कहा कि हमारे समाज की मूल इकाई परिवार है। जिसे हम माताओं के द्वारा शिक्षित कर सकते हैं। माताओं में पुरूषों की अपेक्षा आध्यात्मिकता और धार्मिकता बहुत ज्यादा होती है। सीखने की भी एक उम्र होती है। इसलिए नैतिक और आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों की शिक्षा बचपन से ही दिया जाना चाहिए।
भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (आई.आई.टी. भिलाई) के डायरेक्टर रजत मूना ने कहा कि जिस किसी से हमें जीवन में कुछ सीखने को मिलता है वह सभी हमारे लिए शिक्षक हैं। मनुष्य को अपनी क्षमता और शक्ति पर किसी तरह का अहंकार नहीं होना चाहिए। क्रोध से भी कोई फायदा नहीं है इसलिए इनसे बचना चाहिए। यह दोनों ही बुराइयाँ हमें नुकसान पहुचाती हैं। प्रकृति हमें सर्दी, गर्मी और बाढ़ के माध्यम से यह सबक सिखाती है कि उसके आगे मनुष्य तुच्छ है।
ट्रीपल आई. टी. के रजिस्ट्रार लेफ्टिनेन्ट कर्नल राजेश कुमार मिश्रा ने कहा कि शिक्षा में मूल्यों का बहुत ज्यादा महत्व है। हमको सेना में देशभक्ति के साथ-साथ नैतिक मूल्यों की भी शिक्षा दी जाती है। बचपन से जो संस्कार हमें घर पर मिलते हैं वह बड़े होने पर बहुत काम आते हैं। तकनीकी ज्ञान के साथ ही जीवन मूल्यों का ज्ञान भी जरूरी है। अगर हमारे अन्दर मानवता के कल्याण की भावना नहीं है तो हमारी शिक्षा अधूरी है।
क्षेत्रीय निदेशिका ब्रह्माकुमारी कमला दीदी ने कहा कि हमारी शिक्षा प्रणाली ने बहुत तरक्की की है। वर्तमान शिक्षा अच्छे डॉक्टर, इन्जीनियर तो बना रही है किन्तु आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा के अभाव में समाज में अच्छे इन्सानों की कमी हो गई है। उच्च शिक्षित होने के बावजूद लोगों का मनोबल बहुत कमजोर है। इसीलिए लोग डिप्रेशन का शिकार हो रहे हैं। ऐसे समय पर जीवन में भौतिकता और आध्यात्मिकता का सन्तुलन रखने की जरूरत है।
राजयोग शिक्षिका ब्रह्माकुमारी दीक्षा दीदी ने कहा कि शिक्षक वह शिल्पकार है जो अनेक चैतन्य मूर्तियों को गढऩे का काम करता है। नैतिक और आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों की शिक्षा से हमारी सोच सकारात्मक बनती है।
