Korba ( Chhatisgarh ): The Brahma Kumaris service center in Korba organized a seminar on the topic “Value-Based Media for A Value-Based Society.” This program was held under the guidance of BK Prof. Kamal Dixit, Editor, Razi Khushi Monthly Magazine. Many media persons were felicitated on this occasion.
BK Prof. Kamal Dixit, while expressing his views on this occasion, said that success in journalism should be seen in terms of bringing out the reality instead of monetary gains. Instead of encouraging competitiveness in journalism, cooperation and constructive thinking should be preferred. Media can play a big role in improving our society. A sensitive and aware media can lead to a value-based society.
Mr. Rajindra Jaiswal, Head of the Press Club Korba, praised the efforts of the Brahma Kumaris organization in holding such functions to bring awareness. He congratulated Prof. Dixit for holding fifty such programs to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Divine Services in the area.
Mr. Manoj Sharma, Bureau Chief of Dainik Bhaskar, informed the audience of an initiative by the newspaper under which only positive news is published on the front page on Mondays.
Mr. Pradeep Mehto, Editor of Aadhar Stambh, said that he fully agreed with the concept of this program and will try to give a practical shape to it.
