Garoth ( Madhya Pradesh ): Brahma kumaris Garoth near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh organized a media seminar. Media professionals from the print , electronic and digital world participated in it. Former department head of journalism at Makhanlal Chaturvedi University Mr.Kamal Dixit was the special guest at this function.
Interacting with the audience , Mr.Dixit said that with the increase in conveniences today , comfort in life has increased but many evils have also cropped up to disturb societal peace. This has posed a challenge for today’s media in maintaining the moral fabric of the society. It calls for the media people to practice positive and responsible journalism. If the journalists are peaceful individuals, the news produced will be good and beneficial for all.
Editor of Shiv Amantran magazine , Pushpendra Sahu from Mount Abu said that being in the media is a challenging job. Working in small towns can be difficult. Journalists should try to highlight positive news. With the might of their pen, they can help bring in the golden age. All the participating guests were felicitated on this occasion.
