Mohali ( Punjab ): A Free Medical camp was organised at Brahma Kumaris Sukh Shanti Bhawan, Mohali. The camp was sponsored by IVY Hospital Mohali and BDC Laboratory, Mohali where around 250 patients were diagnosed by a team of doctors.
The camp was inaugurated by Amarjeet Singh Sidhu, Mayor Mohali. Paramjit Singh Happy, Municipal Councilor Mohali, Dr. Janak Raj Kukoo Chairman Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Rajiv Godly Stand Up Comedian Sony T.V., Chander Bhushan Sharma President, Dukh Bhanjan Charitable Trust were also present on the occasion as special guests. Team of Experts included Dr. Anshul (Orthopaedics), Dr. Richa Gupta Market Coordinator, Dr. Swati Garg (Neurologist), Dr. Kajal( Physiotherapist).
Various tests were conducted including : Blood Pressure, Random blood Sugar, Uric Acid, ECG and consultations regarding Physiotherapy, Diet, Neurology ( Headache, Migraine, Neck & Back pain, Dementia, Stroke, Epilepsy, Vertigo, Sleep disorder) Weight, B.M.D.(Bone Mineral Density).
After inauguration BK Rama, Co-Incharge Rajyoga Centres Mohali-Ropar Circle addressed the public and said that presently 20% diseases are of body and 80% are psychosomatic. Hence one should learn the technique of Rajyoga meditation to lead a happy and healthy life. Rajyoga Meditation helps to stay positive, enhances efficiency and get rid of stress, depression, worries, negativities etc.
Mayor Amarjeet Singh Sidhu lauded the role of Brahma Kumaris who are providing free services to the society. He appealed all to derive benefit of selfless services of Brahma Kumaris.
