Mathura ( Uttar Pradesh ): On the auspicious occasion of the festival of Raksha Bandhan, BK Krishna of the Refinery Nagar service center tied Rakhi to Shrikant Sharma, Cabinet Minister of Energy and Alternative Sources of Energy, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Raksha Bandhan is a festival that celebrates the pure bond of love and protection between brother and sister. Brahma Kumaris highlight the spiritual significance of this festival by celebrating the eternal bond between soul and Supreme Soul. Being children of the same Supreme Father, we are all brothers and sisters.
At this meeting, BK Krishna briefed the Honorable Minister about various Godly services being undertaken by the Brahma Kumaris and also extended an invitation to visit Mount Abu, the International headquarters of Brahma Kumaris. She said that Brahma Kumaris have been working for eradicating various social evils from the past 87 years, free of cost.

प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय के स्थानीय सेवा केंद्र रिफाइनरी नगर की सेवा केंद्र प्रभारी बी के कृष्णा दीदी ने उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के कैबिनेट मंत्री श्रीकांत शर्मा को रक्षा सूत्र बांधा और संस्था द्वारा किए जा रहे समाज सुधार की गतिविधिओ से अवगत कराया तथा संस्था के अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुख्यालय माउंट आबू आने का निमंत्रण दिया। बी के कृष्णा दीदी ने बताया ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था समाज में बुराइयों को दूर करने के लिए विगत 87 बरसों से अपनी सेवाएं निशुल्क रूप से दे रहा है। इस संसार में सभी का रक्षक विश्व कल्याणकारी शिव पिता परमात्मा है, उसी का यादगार पर्व रक्षाबंधन मनाया जाता है।
