Make industries no anger zones – Brahma Kumaris plea at CII Corporate wellness conference

Mysuru ( Karnataka ): Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mysuru organized its third edition of the corporate wellness conference through a virtual platform. The theme was “Corporate Wellness – The key to a productive workplace.”

More than 300 people participated from various industries in Mysuru and from other cities of Karnataka.

BK Sister Shivani, RajaYoga Meditation teacher, spiritual guide, and mentor, Brahma Kumaris, was the keynote speaker.  She addressed “resilience in uncertain times,” urging industries to pronounce their campuses as “No Anger zones” and make affirmation such as – I am a powerful person, I am calm and stable always, I am fearless, I am a giver, my body is always perfect and healthy, I respect people around me, success is certain for me, and God’s blessing and power is around me like a shield. 

Dr. H.R Nagendra, Chancellor of Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana samsthana (SVYASA) university, addressed the participants on “Yoga and meditation for improving employee morale.”

Dr. Hemanth Kamath, founder, Mahalakshmi Paripoorna Jevvana Pratishtana from Karwar, emphasized on “Greater focus on mental health over holistic health approach” and Dr. Veena G Rao, Professor and HoD, Department of Panchakarma from JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Mysuru spoke on the “Ayurvedic approach to wellness.”

Earlier, Pavan Ranga, chairman CII Mysuru and Managing Director, Rangsons, welcomed the guests and participants.

Supriya Salian, vice-chairperson CII Mysuru and Managing Director, Plansee India HPM Pvt Ltd, delivered the vote of thanks.
