Sunni ( Himachal Pradesh ): Brahma Kumaris Sunni organized the Maha Shivratri Festival at Om Shanti Bhavan in which Devpal Chauhan, Tehsildar of Sunni, was the chief guest. He was welcomed by the center in charge, BK Shakuntala, and other members of the center with flowers and tilak.
To begin the program, the chief guest and BK Shakuntala unfurled the Shiva flag and took the pledge: “We will give regard to all religions and strata of society and increase the feeling of universal brotherhood. We will not create a difference in the name of caste, creed, religion, region or language in the society. We will not hurt anyone by thought, word or deed. With everyone’s co-operation, we will eradicate corruption, blind faith, evil ways and ignorance with Godly knowledge and Rajayoga Meditation. We will never indulge in animal killing, eating non-vegetarian food, or drinking.”
Then everyone present took a firm oath that they will have good wishes for all and spread love, peace, and happiness in the society and once again make India as heaven.
Meghna and Ridhima presented the welcome song and dance. BK Vimla sang a devotional song. Children actively participated in various cultural activities.
BK Shakuntala emphasized the need to get rid of weakness and vices by inculcating spiritual knowledge and maintaining peace and harmony in society.
BK Kuldeep of Bhavnagar reminded the audience that God Shiva is the Father of all souls and Shivratri is the day when he reincarnated in this world.
BK Revadas persuaded and inspired everyone to learn and practice Rajyoga meditation. He also informed them that the only way to get rid of psychosomatic diseases is to conquer all the vices.
The honorable chief guest Tehsildar Devpal Chauhan felicitated the organization for their contribution in social welfare. He requested that they to go to villages to hold a similar function for the upliftment of the downtrodden.
Present for this special occasion were Pawan Gupta (Chief trade Executive), Rajendra Gupta, Nisha Gupta, Brijmohan Gupta and more than 450 Brahma Kumars and Kumaris from sixty subcenters.

सुन्नी : प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा कुमारीज ईश्वरीय विश्वविद्यालय सेवा केंद्र सुन्नी द्वारा ओम शान्ति भवन सुन्नी मे महाशिवरात्री उत्सव का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम में तहसीलदार सुन्नी देव पाल चौहान बतौर मुख्य अतिथि उपस्थित रहै। संस्था की संचालिका बहन ब्रह्माकुमारी शकुंतला सहित संस्था के सदस्यों ने तिलक व पुष्पगुुछ भेंट कर मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत किया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ मुख्य अतिथि द्वारा शिव ध्वजारोहण कर किया गया तथा बहन शकुंतला के साथ उपस्थित लोगों ने शिव ध्वज तले शपथ ली कि हम समाज के सभी वर्ग, धर्म व समुदाय का सम्मान करके विश्व बंधुत्व की भावना बढ़ाएंगे। धर्म, जाती, क्षेत्र व भाषा के आधार पर समाज में भदभाव नहीं करेंगे। किसी को मन, वचन व कर्म से दुख नहीं देंगे। सर्व सहयोग से समाज में फैले भ्रष्टाचार, अंधविश्वास, पापाचार व अज्ञान को ईश्वरीय ज्ञान व राज योग से दूर करेंगे। जीव हत्या, मासाहार तथा नशों का प्रयोग नहीं करेंगे सभी के प्रति शुभ भावना रख कर समाज में सुख शांति आनंद और प्रेम का प्रसार करके भारत को पुनः स्वर्ग बनाने संकलप लिया। सांसकृतिक कार्यक्रम में मेघना और रिद्धिमा ने स्वागत गीत नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया तथा बहन विमला द्वारा आध्यात्मिक गीत प्रस्तुत किया गया इसके अलावा बच्चों ने विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियां पेश की। संस्था की संचालिका बहन ब्रह्माकुमारी शकुंतला ने निश्चय बुद्धि आत्मज्ञान का अनुसरण करते हुए समाज मे भाईचारा एवं शांति बनाए रखने तथा अपनी कमियों और कमजोरियों को दूर करते हुए क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, अहंकार, नशा जैसे विकारों को छोड़कर किसी को दुख ना देने का संकल्प लेने का आह्वान किया। भावनगर से आए ब्रह्माकुमार कुलदीप भाई ने कहा कि भगवान शिव सब आत्माओं के परमपिता है तथा आज के दिन शिव परमात्मा का इस सृष्टि में दिव्य अवतरण हुआ है। बिलासपुर से आए वरिष्ठ राजयोगी ब्रह्माकुमार रेवादास ने सभी से राजयोग व मेडिटेशन से जुडने का आग्रह किया।
उन्होंने कहा कि दुनिया में पापाचार बढ़ रहा है जिसके कारण पूरे विश्व में तरह-तरह की बीमारियां और महामारी फैल रही है जिसका कि बाहरी उपचार किया जा रहा है जबकि मनुष्य अध्यात्म और राजयोग से जुड़कर अपने बाहर भीतर के सभी विकारों को दूर कर कर सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि ब्रह्माकुमारी संस्था से जुड़कर अध्यात्म द्वारा समस्त विकारों को दूर कर हर नर में नारायण और हर नारी में लक्ष्मी के गुण उत्पन्न कर अपने जीवन को दिव्य गुण संपन्न बनाएं। मुख्य अतिथि तहसीलदार देवपाल चौहान ने संस्था को महाशिवरात्री उत्सव के आयोजन के लिए बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा प्रजापिता ब्रह्मा कुमारीज संस्था समाज सुधार कार्यों, असहाय और गरीब लोगों की मदद करने और मनुष्य के विकारों को अध्यात्म द्वारा दूर करने के प्रशंसनीय कार्य में लगी हुई है उन्होंने सभी से गांव-गांव जाकर लोगों में संस्था के प्रशंसनीय कार्यों का व्यापक प्रचार करने का आग्रह किया। कार्यक्रम में भाई ब्रह्माकुमार उत्तम शर्मा ने मंच संचालन किया। महाशिवरात्रि विशेष कार्यक्रम के लिए संस्था से जुड़ी बहनों द्वारा सभी उपस्थित जनों के लिए स्वादिष्ट पारंपरिक शिवरात्रि व्यंजनों की व्यवस्था की गई। इस अवसर पर प्रधान व्यापार मंडल पवन गुप्ता, उपप्रधान नगर पंचायत सुन्नी राजेंद्र गुप्ता, सदस्या निशा गुप्ता, वरिष्ठ नागरिक बृजमोहन गुप्ता व बालकृष्ण सहित सुन्नी केन्द्र के अंतर्गत 60 उपकेंद्रों के लगभग 450 भाई -बहन महाशिवरात्री उत्सव मे शामिल हुए।
