Degana ( Rajasthan ): The Brahma Kumaris on the festive occasion of Durga Navratri arranged a two-day program at the Seth Ganga Vishan Bankatlal Heda State Girls’ High School and Higher Middle School near the Municipality.
The function was started by the lighting of lamps by Mr. Radha Kishan, Municipal Chairman; Mr. Ram Swarup Soni, reputed Social Worker; and BK Shanta, Ajmer Sub Zone Centre in Charge.
Mr. Radha Kishan suggested that such programs may be held frequently in Degana so that people there may be enlightened and live a better life.
It was heartening to see the flood of spectators to have a vision of all the living Deities — all the nine forms of Goddess Durga — blessing the people who were so emotional and joyful.
On this happy festive day BK Shanta revealed the good news to the public that a new Brahma Kumaris Centre has been opened in front of the Metro Hotel in Degana where every day people are given Spiritual Knowledge freely. Rajayoga is taught for half an hour to make life brighter and happier. Here people are enlightened on many subjects such as “Clean and Healthy Life,” “Key to Happy Life is Pure Actions,” “Life Free from Tension,” “De-addiction,” “Own Transformation through Spirituality,” “Women Empowerment” and many other topics. She said that through Rajayog practice, a person can make his/her life valuable like a Diamond. At the end of the program, there was Garba Dance for public entertainment.
