“Life Upliftment” program at District Jail

Chhattarpur ( Madhya Pradesh ): No man is born great by birth but to achieve greatness one must do great actions. A person is identified by his actions, therefore let bygones be bygones, rather we must vow to do great actions and aim at transforming our lives. Consider this not a jail but a reform home. The above statement was made by BK Rama, center in charge, Kishore Sagar center, while addressing inmates in a “Life Upliftment” program organized at the district jail complex. The jail superintendent along with jail staff and about four hundred fifty prisoners assembled on this occasion.

Speaking on methods of de-addiction, BK Suman said that addiction leads us towards evil activities. So we must not consume any addiction.

Various educative activities were conducted by BK Kalpana in which the inmates participated. BK Mohini, BK Archana and Block Coordinator of Sports department, Dheeraj Chauvey, also joined the program.

At the end of the program, sacrament (prasad or holy offered food) and spiritual literature was distributed among all participants. All the prisoners appeared cheerful and they requested Brahma Kumari sisters to conduct regular spiritual classes inside the jail. Jail Superintendent Ramshiromani Pandey thanked Brahma Kumari sisters for the program.
