Gorakhpur ( Uttar Pradesh ) : Baisakhi Festival was organized by Khatri Sabha, Gorakhpur in which all the office bearers and members of Khatri Samaj, Gorakhpur participated. The program was inaugurated with lamp lighting, Ganesh Vandana and National Anthem.
The chief guest of the program was BK Parul, in-charge of Brahma Kumaris service center at Shahpur, Gorakhpur. She spoke on the topic “The art of living a stress-free life through Rajyoga meditation” to all the members of the Khatri Samaj and made everyone practice Rajyoga and invited them to visit Mount Abu, the headquarters of Brahma Kumaris.
During the program, President of Khatri Sabha, Gorakhpur Dr. Hemant Chopra and Patron Dr. Sanjeev Gulati honored BK Parul by giving her a letter of honor for social service.
In the program, the members of Punjabi Khatri Samaj made a beautiful presentation of various dance etc. programs.
BK Parul felicitated the distinguished members of the city associated with the Khatri Samaj by wearing a special sashe and gave gifts and certificates to the members who presented the program. The program was coordinated by Amrita Mehrotra.

खत्री सभा, गोरखपुर द्वारा बैसाखी महोत्सव का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें खत्री समाज, गोरखपुर से संबंधित सभी पदाधिकारी एवं सदस्यों ने भाग लिया । कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन दीप प्रज्जवलन, गणेश वंदना तथा राष्ट्र गान के साथ हुआ ।
कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि ब्रह्माकुमारीज़ के शाहपुर गोरखपुर स्थित सेवाकेन्द्र की प्रभारी बी. के. पारूल बहन रहीं। बी0के0 पारूल बहन ने खत्री समाज के सभी आये हुए सभी सम्मानित सदस्यों को “राजयोग मेडिटेशन से तनाव मुक्त जीवन जीने की कला” विषय पर अपना वक्तव्य दिया तथा सभी को राजयोग का अभ्यास कराया तथा संस्था के मुख्यालय माउण्ट आबू आने का निमंत्रण भी दिया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान खत्री सभा, गोरखपुर के अध्यक्ष डा०हेमन्त चोपड़ा तथा संरक्षक डा०संजीव गुलाटी जी ने बी0के पारूल बहन को समाज सेवा हेतु “सम्मान पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया ।
कार्यक्रम में पंजाबी खत्री समाज के सदस्यों ने विभिन्न नृत्य आदि कार्यक्रमों की सुंदर प्रस्तुति की l बी0के0 पारूल बहन ने खत्री समाज से जुड़े शहर के विशिष्ठ सदस्यों का बाबा की तरफ से विशेष पट्टा ओढ़ाकर, शिव आमंत्रण एवं स्लोगन देकर सम्मानित किया एवं कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत करने वाले सदस्यों को सौगात एवं सर्टिफिकेट प्रदान किया । कार्यक्रम का संचालन बहन अमृता मेहरोत्रा ने किया ।
