As frail humans living on an unpredictable planet, every religion and culture has sought to answer the question: “Are we born lucky? Do good and bad omens exist? Is luck a chance roll of the dice? Or do we create our own luck?” Some say luck comes disguised as hard work, some say it’s all written in the stars, and others say it’s all a question of “karma”! What is luck? What are the factors that influence luck? And is it in our hands to turn bad luck into good luck?

Speaker: Benoît Duché is a scriptwriter, film director and producer, who lives in the South of France. Benoît has worked in market research and advertising in Paris, as well as having been a Vice-Président & Managing Director of a French luxury fashion house in New York. He has also exhibited some of his watercolour artwork in a Paris gallery.
