Miami, Florida ( USA ): The BK Meditation Center was invited to promote meditation at the “Zen Lounge” booth which was one of the amenities made available to the NBC employees by their Employee Experience (EE) team. At this extremely vibrant workplace with over 1200 employees, about 150 participated in this “Amenities Fair” and more than 100 employees stopped by to learn more about the in-house meditation opportunities.
Most of the employees were happy to learn that they have guided meditation sessions available for them which are facilitated by meditators from the BK Miami Center. About 75 signed up to receive more communication and many expressed how their busy work routine doesn’t allow them to participate as much as they would like, and yet they look forward to joining some of these meditations. BKs Donna, Monica, Meeta and Tej happily interacted with the employees and each of them received a vegan cookie and a unique blessing on behalf of the meditation center. The NBC EE team has been actively associating with the BK Miami center and enthusiastically making more and more efforts to help their employees de-stress and relax.
