“Inner Peace through Inner Technology” Program for IT Professionals

Gurugram ( Haryana ) : BK Sister Shivani delivered a motivational and inspirational talk on “Inner Peace through Inner Technology” at the Shiv Nadar school in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram. The session started with the objective ‘to explore and discover the infinite power within the self and utilize it consciously, intentionally and purposefully to remain positive in professional and personal life’. This program was specifically designed to impart spiritual tips to IT professionals and was organized under Rajyoga Education & Research Foundation (RERF) – IT Wing in association with Brahma Kumaris, CIOs of India & Shiv Nadar School.

The program was attended by around 700 IT and other working professionals across the NCR region and honored by the dignitaries: Mohit Sinha; Director General of Indian Railways, A.B Sharma; Ex. Addl. District Session Judge, Sudhir Singla; MLA of Gurugram, Deepak Bansal: Vice President of DLF-India, Umesh Khandelwal; CIO of Daiken India, Samir; Vice President of the Shiv Nadar School and Payal Kannodia; Trustee of M3M were persent.

The event was well co-ordinated by Delhi Zone IT Wing members in the guidance of BK Sanjiv Gupta, Regional Coordinator Northern Zone IT Wing, BK Rama and BK Sonika and with great assistance from local BK Centre coordinators and their team.

The program began by invoking the divine presence of the ‘Almighty’ which was followed by a brief introduction to Brahma Kumaris by BK Ashima. The topic was introduced by Sister BK Rama, IT Wing coordinator, Delhi Zone. She talked about how spiritual knowledge and tools related to inner technology can bring peace, happiness, resilience, compassion, and harmony as well as empower us to create solutions in times of chaos and confusion. Spiritual technology can be instrumental in improving our professional as well as personal lives.

The introduction was followed by honoring eminent guests with planters and divine souvenirs, followed by lighting of candles.

The esteemed speaker of the program BK Shivani began with a small meditation practice and explained how its benefits get reflected in our day-to-day life. She explained the Coding in the Subconscious Mind and how we can unlock its power to transform our lives. She iterated how very important it is to conserve our soul energy, and validated the same by giving live examples. She further added that the being (self) should not be dependent on doing and how our thoughts create our destiny.

She also emphasized the importance of gratitude, which is a high vibrational energy. She said instead of criticizing and judging we need to understand and accept people in our lives as ‘souls in a journey’ who are carrying sanskars from previous lives. She emphasized on taking out some time for the self (charge the being) on a daily basis to meditate. In the end, she briefly touched on the topic of being vegetarian with the saying ‘Jaisa ann vaisa mann’(As the food, so the mind). The program concluded with Q&A – interaction by the audience followed by meditation and positive affirmations .
