Indore( Madhya Pradesh ): The Brahma Kumaris of Indore, held a free eye check-up camp to mark the 6th Remembrance Day of BK Om Prakash, Founder and former Zonal Head of Indore Subzone of Brahma Kumaris.
At a program held in Om Prakash Hall of Gyanshikhar Om Shanti Bhawan, New Palaysia, many prominent medical professionals contributed and expressed their views. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye ailments was stressed by them.
BK Hemlata, Chief Coordinator of Indore Zone of Brahma Kumaris, in her address said that eyes are our gateway to this world and make our life easy. Similarly, soul consciousness is the gateway to God. It allows us to connect and experience the Supreme Being.
Dr. Sunil Chandiwal, Director of Choithram Hospital, said that we must not hesitate to consult a doctor in case of an ailment.
Dr. Amit Solanki, Director of Aggrawal Netralya, remembered his association with BK Om Prakash and said that meeting him generated hope and energy from within. One felt an enthusiasm for Godly services after meeting him.
Dr. Manish Maheshwari, Secretary of IMA in Indore, informed the audience that IMA will hold research and survey of about one lakh post covid patients in Indore.
Dr. Mahesh Somani, noted eye doctor, said that we should consider our retirement as the start of a second innings of Godly services.
Dr. Shilpa Desai, Senior Physician of Shalby Hospital, Indore, coordinated this program. BK Usha, Coordinator of Medical Wing of Brahma Kumaris in the region, gave Vote of thanks.
A team of doctors from the Aggrawal Netralya examined 148 people on this occasion. Blood donation camp was also held the next day.

इंदौर। लोगों को बिमारियों के आरंभिक लक्षणों का जरा सा भी आभास होने पर टालते नहीं रहना चाहिए बल्कि शीध्रता से चिकित्सकों से परीक्षण करवाना चाहिए। शुरुआत में बीमारी का पता चलने पर ईलाज से नियंत्रण आसान हो जाता है और बीमारी वृद्धि को नहीं पाती है।
इस तरह के विचार आज प्रजापिता ब्रह्माकुमारी ईश्वरीय विश्व विद्यालय के इंदौर जोन के संस्थापक एवं पूर्व क्षेत्रीय निदेशक ब्रह्माकुमार ओमप्रकाश भाईजी की 6वीं पुण्य तिथि के अवसर पर ओमप्रकाष भाईजी सभागृह ज्ञानशिखर ओमषान्ति भवन, न्यु पलासिया में नेत्र परीक्षण शिविर के शुभारंभ के अवसर पर आयोजित कार्यक्रम में इंदौर के वरिष्ठ चिकित्सकों ने व्यक्त किये।
इंदौर जोन की मुख्य क्षेत्रीय समन्वयक ब्रह्माकुमारी हेमलता दीदी ने स्वागत भाषण में कहा कि नेत्रों की ज्योति सही है तो हम चीजों को ठीक से देख पढ़ पाते हैं और जीवन आसान हो जाता है। इस तरह से आत्मज्ञान भी आत्मा की ज्योति है इससे ही हम दिव्यता को देख , समझ पाते हैं और हम आत्मा को अलौकिक शांति, प्रेम, आनंद की अनुभूति से सराबोर कर सकते हैं।
चोईथराम हास्पीटल के डायरेक्टर डाॅ. सुनील चांदीवाल ने कहा कि बिमारियों में डाक्टर से सम्पर्क करने में जरा भी संकोच नहीं करना चाहिए।
अग्रवाल नेत्रालय के डायरेक्टर सुप्रसिद्ध नेत्र रोग विशेषज्ञ डाॅ. अमित सोलंकी ने ब्रह्माकुमार ओमप्रकाश भाईजी के सानिध्य के संस्मरणों को याद करते हुए कहा कि उनसे मिलने पर जीवन में उत्साह और उर्जा का संचार हो सेवाओं के लिए प्रेरणायें मिलती थी।
इण्डियन मेडिकल एशोसिएशन इंदौर के सचिव डाॅ. मनीष माहेश्वरी ने कहा कि इंदौर शहर में इण्डियन मेडिकल एशोसिएशन के द्वारा कोविड की बिमारी (पोस्ट कोविड पेशेन्टस) से स्वस्थ्य हुए लगभग एक लाख लोगों का व्यापक अध्ययन तथा सर्वे कार्यक्रम चलाया जायेगा ।
प्रसिद्ध नेत्र रोग चिकित्सक डाॅ. महेश सोमानी ने शुभकामनायें व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह कभी न समझे कि हम रिटायर्ड हो गये हैं बल्कि सेवाओं के लिए जीवन की दूसरी पारी आरंभ हुई है।
शैलबी हास्पीटल इंदौर की वरिष्ठ चिकित्सक डाॅ. शिल्पा देसाई ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन तथा ब्रह्माकुमारी मेडिकल विंग की क्षेत्रीय समन्वयक ब्रह्माकुमारी उषा बहन ने सभी का आभार व्यक्त किया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्जवलन कर किया गया। शिविर में अग्रवाल नेत्रालय की टीम द्वारा 148 लोगों का नेत्र परीक्षण किया गया। रविवार प्रातः 9 बजे से दोपहर 2 बजे तक रक्तदान शिविर चला।
